PvZ2 account is deleted/gone

I was in the middle of playing PvZ2 when the game froze and when I logged back in my account was gone. I have PvZ2 on my android and I thought since I have google play synced up to the game it would still have my profile but to no avail. Can anyone help me? I've been playing since the game came out and I would hate to have to restart from scratch.
