@Republic_Trust Keep bugging them every hour, it took me 4 days!!! You will come across an agent that actually will help you. Mine found my original player ID and I had 4 profiles 🙂 Don't give up!! Email them back constantly, just keep replying to them. Once another agent picks it up, email them non stop, trust me you will go through a lot of agents!!!
@Republic_Trust, @tommystarman ....just no luck for me I think gave up... I am a bit annoyed myself that I didn't realise before, how much money I spent over 10 years on the game... I guess it was my mistake, these organisations are there to loot money from us
EA stopped replying to my any email now....apple more of a soft threat saying not to raise this again...
I did a search for laws in the UK, that cover consumers for in-app purchases and responsibility of the organisations, nothing good for consumers yet.
I am talking to a couple of lawyers I know to see if anything can happen

one issue all gaming companies have is different laws for each country/region and a lot of the 'bugs' stem from having to run different versions for each country/region

Been doing that but not to the extent of spamming or scolding.
Also does the game store an archive of your progress on device memory for IOS ?Anyways I have been sending them emails and asking them questions to better understand the situation.
I doubt I will get the progress back since they say that the Player ID belongs to a new player account which is complete bull.
Even when I download the game on my IPhone, it should sync the progress but it just doesn’t.
I am in university currently and I’ll try picking up this matter again once during easter break when I get my hands on my fathers device back home.The game has changed so much now and I don’t think it will be the same to start from the ground up.
- @Republic_Trust Your iOS back up will not help you, if you did a iTunes back up in the past, before this happened, well I'd restore and leave it on airplane mode and go into the game.. Do not believe them about your account with a new player, they can get your data back. SPAM them non stop every hour, you will get an agent that will help!! Don't give up your data, they will recover you. They want you to give up... If you paid for plants as I did then you need to bring that up also!
