PvZ2 won't install the additional data on update

Question

I dowloaded the last update of PvZ2 to my Galaxy S4. I entered the game and it started to download the additional datas. At about 293 MB it stuck, so I closed and reopened the app but now it says "Starting..." on top of the screen and there is nothing else.
I afraid to reinstall the app lose my pogress, It happened to me two times. What should I do?

I got my progress removed because of this kind of things twice. It is good that I like this game to start over. But I start to be careful now.

Oh, dude, my problems are worse. As a "reward" &nbsp;for my high progress in the game I got such lags that the developers have not been able to eliminate them for 2 months already ... I can play only at those levels where there is no possibility of free choice of plants ... I wish you luck in the game, lets give each other XP!
