I just signed up for Amazon Prime. All the ads I'm getting are for Audible. They're 12 second ads and work great. Amazon currently offers 1 month of Prime for free.
I Must remember to cancel before Dec 15.
😉

Wow, that is good, most of the ads I am getting are 30 seconds with another 5 to count out, that is if I do not get a rotating circle (buffering) sign in between....
- linuxPigPen6 years agoSeasoned Ace@eieio_31310 I signed up just to get free shipping on my latest purchase - a steam cleaner of all things. But I also wanted to try Prime Video. I'd heard about Carnival Row and thought it might be interesting. (I was a fan of the HBO show Carnivale and it sounded like it might be sort of in the same vein.) I've tried watching the 1st episode 3 times now but just can't get into it. Magical creatures sashaying around Jack the Rippers London just doesn't do it for me.
- @MAGICDAVESHROOM I've tried tapping along all edges and corners in case the X had just become invisible, but no such luck ☹️
Not sure if it is the same ad but I have had a quick check on the cooking fever ad on my iphone and it seems to have a clear and defined x on the top right corner.
EDIT mistypes
It has becoming so frustrating for me. Delete and reinstall used to work for me. Now it has becoming extremely difficult and seem like is only 50/50 chance that may or may not work. I hope that the support staff from ea can chime in and offer some solution.
It's so weird. Sometimes, the ads start working again for a limited time, and then suddenly break again. All of this sometimes happens when I don't really do anything (restart app, change networks etc.)
Do you also have issues regarding getting a reward after watching a Cooking fever ad?
This is my Cooking fever add, but I've also already seen different versions (all of which are broken in at least one way).

I just did an ad for coins. It was a Best Fiends ad. Nice little 12 second ad that worked fine. But tho we complain about EA being pay to play, if you want a real definition of the concept, play Best Fiends.
They've got God knows how many levels but once you get up past level 80, it will take you 2 days to upgrade enough to pass the next level by using F2P. I finally had enough and uninstalled the dang thing.
