Re: BattleZ Cactus

Any thoughts on an effective strategy to be rid of Graves really fast ?

A low level Cactus or two or even three does not work.

Spikeweed works a bit on the Zombies but the Graves wreak havoc very quickly !!

At the risk of being boring, and because explosives are ineffective, I have to say it's down to getting out as many Laser Beans as you can - AGAIN. You need 4 full columns if possible, even digging up the double sunflowers to make more space once the vacant spots have been filled. Also, fill column 5 with Hypnoshrooms if you have them. They are good against chickens. (Imitate them if you can.)

While on the subject of LB, I've now given up all hope of getting mine to level 14 before the Spearmint month ends. I still need too many seeds for that to happen this week. If I felt I was still in with a chance I MIGHT put in more effort this week rather than playing just twice a day to qualify for the 6 gems.

From a few vids I've seen, I'd also advise against planting anything other than mints in column 6. That seems to be where most Graves pop up. I have also seen where it's suggested that you dig up any Spikerocks in rows 1, 2, and 3 in column 8, so the graves will tend to pop up there. I tried that in the Practice Room but found it made little difference.

Yes, it is boring to have Laser Bean as the offensive plant of choice yet again.

Shadow PeaShooter with MoonFlower is an alternative but that option tends to slow down the Zombies which leads to a lower final score !!

I agree with you about playing BattleZ this week.  Fortunately I managed to upgrade my original profile LB to level 8 by using a few hundred gems I had been saving...
