I've noticed that there seems to be a pattern:

25 gems           10 gems           20 gems           

2000 coins     4000 coins     3000 coins

The prices for the costumes repeat, so tomorrow it should be 20 gems, 3000 coins

What about the Starfruit costume? Do you have it? I know Alien Gurke has it (but that doesn't mean anything 😉) Both the Starfruit costume and the Squash costume are listed as "Chinese version" on the fandom page but since you have the Squash costume I guess the fandom page is not always correct.

A player on Reddit Lenny Ray has that Starfruit costume. He doesn't remember when he got it but he says it's been a while. I saw him use it in an Arena screen shot and quizzed him about it! He was definitely playing our version of PVZ2. I don't think it will have any connection but he is based in India.

The Pea Pod costume @PowerToss post is China-exclusive I suppose?

the Squash costume looks so odd,I have not seen it for years. But that Starfruit costume has appeared years ago(my friend got it too).

@HenryThePear Fantastix has the Squash costume.

Here the list of what I think are unused/not released costumes that are in the game. I do not count the Starfruit costume as unreleased since some "legit" players seem to have it and I count Pepper-pult red band as unreleased because no one seems to have it.

Some of the costumes are really nice (Puffshroom). @FantastiXxPVZ @MortStella @HenryThePear @MAGICDAVESHROOM Please let me know if you own one of these and they were actually released.

Unused Costumes

Bonk Choy costume. Does anyone know this?

Alas no I don't have any of those.  Some of them are awesome though!  Puff Shrooms hat is amazeballs!!!  I would ❤ That 👒🤠🤠🤠🤠

@HenryThePear Winter-melon does have a top hat but I don't think Melon-pult's top hat was released. The Bonk Choy costume you posted is from the Chinese online version of PvZ2. 

If you want to know what costumes really exist you need to look at the texture which you can find on the fandom page. Here as example are the 10 costumes for Bonk Choy. The nurse costume is not permanent and only available during Valenbrainz.

@PowerToss I'm sure I once saw Wall Nut wearing a red and white striped scarf,  it was many years ago though and I'm not even sure where I saw it.  Is this something you recall or is it a product over my over active imagination combined with playing PVZ too late at night?! 

@PowerToss PS,  the nurses outfit is to die for!!! 

@HenryThePear The nurse outfit is not rare. You can't have it unless you hack. Sunflower, Pea-nut, Wall-nut don't have any permanent costume. They are/were only "enabled" during specific events.

@MortStella Here are the wall-nut costumes (not permanent, only enabled during events).

@PowerToss Ah thank you that must be the scarf I remember seeing him wear! I suspect it might have been a Christmas 'event'. 

That's twice in 2 days on here that I've been proved not as crazy as I thought....things are looking up! 😁

All these costumes is giving me an urge to collect them..... eeek.....
