I am still receiving crashes on both Battlez and now even on Pinata Party. Unfortunately all these crashes forces a restart, and I am penalized. In Battlez I am losing progress and gauntlets. On Pinata Party, I lost the rewards. Seems Electronic Arts should not penalize the player if their game crashes.
There are several posts on reddit complaining about the same thing and EA's dev Haemophilus claims to have fixed it.
Yeah... it's still not fixed. (I tried rebooting my entire device still freezes on Battlez. It used up my credits on Pinata Party, without giving me pinata prizes, so don't know if it is still freezing there until tomorrow.)
Seems some servers are fixed (or target devices) and otrhers are not.
I have not had trouble opening Arena since the announcement from Haem on Reddit.
Have not tried Pinata Party yet.
No clue and it is suppose to have been resolved...may it be resolved for you when you are ready !!
I'm sitting this tournament out so i don't know if it crashes when trying to play arena, but the quest log daily gem tasks aren't resetting today.

Same for me. I can usually play the Pinata Party in the morning but today it says "9h 30min until next party".
Same here, i wonder if they've changed the times without telling us, they have a nasty habit of doing that. ⏰
I do not do ads on Fridays since the No Play Friday has started, after reading your posts I open the PVZ2 App and found the same thing as @MAGICDAVESHROOM described. No refresh for gems, pinata party is now another 7 hours away (delayed by another 12 hours). I guess there has been serious server issues and we are now shifted to a different PVZ2 time zone.
@eieio_31310yep, I haven't watched any ads as it's still Friday here for another 3 hours. Only did a free play as I accidentally entered Arena /sigh Was trying to tap the shopping trolley and mis-tapped.
Same here. Woke up and have 2 more hours (9 AM CST) before Pinata Party expires. And no GEM ads so maybe this is a response to the No Play Day ??
or else the servers are sill out of whack from yesterday's Boosterama upload !!???
Not fixed. My iPad crashes every single time I click arena. Also crashes during pinata and other play regularly. Hope it’s fixed soon.
Didnt load the daily insanity etc play modes either. Major bug in latest updates obviously.
Yeah it was working for me last night, without game freezes/restarts. But today, it is back with a vengeance. Even just on the menu screen it will lock up and force restart.
My daily quest gems for ads has reset 6pm gmt, but yesterday's pinata party is back with another 24 hours on the clock and the pinata party glitch doesn't work, it just keeps on going back to the play event tab rather than the replay for watching ad tab.
LOL - maybe they finally closed that 'bug' right ??
For me, the freezing / forced restart issues are consistently present today. Periodically check to see if its any better, get a minute into a round and frozen. Lost progress, lost credit, lost gauntlet... lame.
Everything seems back to normal today, the quests were back to their normal times and pinata party is behaving as it should.
