Week 261 Power Vine tournament
My level 8 profile managed to break 6M the last time but this time the best I manage is far less. This strategy averages around 5.5M, with lucky RNGs there have been a few 5.7 and 5.8 being the highest so far.
Power vine boosterama, finally joined @eieio_31310 in the 8 million club and once again he has nibbled round the edges of the jaffa cakes.
Note: planting a peavy onto a blue torchwood during this boosterama will destroy Zmech immediately, even the 4th 625,000 point one.

Week 262 Peashooter tournament, no, no, no, your eyes have not deceived you, it really is a first ever Peashooter Tournament! (Guess EA like us players to have a peaing contest! 👿)
My best out of 3 practices pre-boosterama.
Made it into the 16 million club using Long Vu's strategy.
I started with one impear on tile turnip, then two, then finally three.

Managed a 17.8m with my Maxies, plantfooded the torchwoods immediately then did the one, two, three impears on tile turnips and got lucky.

I have not yet reached the 17M club with any of my profile but will try and hope to join you later tomorrow.
My level 8 profile failed to break 17M. The best I got was just 16.4M.
Boosterama helps, My level 8 profile managed to get quite a few 17M+ and once it got even close to 18M.
Week 263 Zomboss tournament.
This is a tricky tournament as we are given a selection of tough zombies and the occasional snow storms preventing my plants to stun-lock Zomboss for the mega score. I must have tried over half of a dozen of load-outs but none are effective in locking zomboss for the duration.
Below is the best my level 8 plants can get and I doubt there is much room for higher score (with my gaming skill of course 😳).
It is easy to break 40M with level 10 plants using the same strategy.
Week 264 Boomberry Tournament
I tried @MAGICDAVESHROOM 's mid-level plant strategy and the best out of 21 games is 4.8M. I think RNG plays a big part as the same load-out also got me below 3.6M on a few games.
Week 265 boosterama
Replacing the Tile Turnip with Solar Sage from the pre-boosterama strategy allows my level 8 profile to join the 7M club too. it average around 7.3M but with lucky RNGs, 7.5M+ is possible.
Made it into the 8 million club with my maxies twice on the trot.

A great score @MAGICDAVESHROOM and congrats on reaching the 8M club. Guess I will need to try harder as none of my profiles managed made it this far yet, not even high mastery.
Plantfooding imppear while he regenerates creates more imps and increases the score by a few hundred thousand.
The most i got with tile turnip (including boosterama) was 7.8m.
I now have to EAt all those lovely Jaffa cakes on my own.
Week 266 pre-boosterama
I found it very strange that the Pyre Vine was frozen in this tournament setup, it could only happen with PVZ2.
My level 8 profile managed to break 4M but I have seen the same strategy breaking 9M! just not sure yet how to keep the ZDL high for such a long duration.
If you want to try the frozen mint trick then you have to dig up the pyre vine once he defrosts. I am also scoring around 4m but so far that is enough for a win.

Thanks @MAGICDAVESHROOM . My Pyre Vine is at level 8 and it could be left alone for the frozen mint trick to work. You only need to dig it up if it is level 10 or mastery.
The Free Player 9m+ strategy is with L6 plants and allows the frozen mint trick with pyre vine active.
I haven't managed anything better than 4.8m so far with my maxies.

A few strategies.
First the fun one, not a very good score admittedly but I like shrinking the zombies and then watch them flying off the screen.
Then the slow down and defensive one
then an attacking one with potentially high scores.
4M club is now open. 👿
