Escape root takes too long to arm but if you plant an escape root where you need it to be you can use an already armed escape root to swap places with the unarmed one, which can finish arming in a safe place instead of being eaten.
If you're on a smartphone and have trouble getting to the first page in a long thread turn your phone from horizontal to vertical and the first post button will have room to pop up.

If you have an ad in between games, not a requested ad for GEMS or other rewards but the annoying ads that pop up, it seems, between each play -

To get rid, click on the ad to make Google Play come up in a new tab, then close Google Play. The X for closing the ad will come up sharpish, and you're not stuck watching drivel for another 30 seconds.

For those who have multiple devices for one EA account...please read on
1) turn off auto-update so you decide when to update a device
2) update one device at a time and make sure all is functional before updating the next device
3) For Arena, if you choose to wait to update then you will remain with the previous 'NEW' seedium plant but the downside is you do not get Daily Refresh or quests or the latest 'NEW' seedium plant (update only one device in order to receive the latest 'NEW' seedium plant)

Working on Shine Vine while I can. Not too high on it so far (Level 1 anyway) as it requires a companion plant be very effective IMHO.

If Zomboss launches a missile and it hits then a penalty will be incurred, either dig it up quickly or if you plantfood it then if the plant's plantfood animation is running and the missile hits then it won't be destroyed.

@HypnoDjurre Thanks. I noticed that, too =) It's good for earning seeds but bad for earning coins since entering the PP through that banner "costs" 1,000 coins. So you basically had to hit 1,000 coins+ to earn some coins^^
the 'archaic' term is more applicable than today's term...
and for sure so many people are now in 'voluntary confinement' and suffering just as if it was truly confinement; given all the children under foot !!

So Shine Vine is a sun generator, Blastberry is a lobber, and Pyre is a flamethrower - none of which on their own would count as defensive plants. Just because they're vines, that does not make them defensive."
Luckily, Pea-nut doesn't count as hybrid...

That is what I have been doing and not to mention the 11K coins and random seeds packages.
Bottom line, I now start the day by doing the PP Zomboss guest first, this gives me between 18 to 24 gems depending on the speed I can clear the zombies which carry the gem drops, 5 gems from completing the 'Collect Seed Packets', 5 gems for 'Play Penny's Pursuit', so this brings me 28+ gems done, I then watch the ads and complete the two free plays on Arena which give me a further 14 gems, this now enable to me to get 42+ gems per day (27 before PP)
