Re: Is there a way that I could transfer my saved progress on pvz2? android - iphone

Yes and it is quite simple.  You just need to associate your email address to your game save progress and then recover your account on the new device.  But before you do anything, please take a note (or screenshot) of your player ID just in case.

Steps on how to associate your email address to the the saved game.

1.  On your old device, start PVZ2, from the main menu, click on the cloud button

2. Click Register E-mail (if you have not yet done)

3. Enter a valid email address (make sure this is the email you will have access in the future as you might need it in the future for your next new device).   You would also get 100 free gems if  this is your first time use of the email on the account.

4.  Repeat the same email register process on the new device as above, after confirmed you are the owner of the account by the verification code from your email, you will then be given an option to chose whether to recover your old saved data to continue your game or start a new one.  PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHOSE THE OLD ONE (the one with more in game resources) and your game saved progress will be loaded onto the new device.

Warning:  IF you have selected to start a new one then your old game saved progress will be overwritten and there will be no way back.

What age have you entered for the PVZ2 App when you install the game?

The cloud button is only available for adult players as the act of registering email an address with game companies is not open to underage children.

Depending on your geographic location, some countries class adult as 18 while some as high as 21.

hi, if by any chance I used the icloud email to register my account in iPhone and now I'm currently using an android, can I still retrieve my old account. I've tried but it seems like the icloud email is not acceptable in my android phone. Appreciate the help.

You should be able to do so.

When you install the game on a second device, you just need to register your PVZ2 account again with the same email address as you have used on the first device, then the system will prompt you to select the correct ID.  Please note that the email register cloud button is only available for adults and not for children so ensure to enter a correct age when you intsall the game.

My problem is that the button is missing, even though I have entered my correct age (43 years old 😉).
How do I get the button? I am successfully registered on my old smartphone.

    Can someone please help me???

Do you have to do the old one first, cause I did the new one first (not knowing I had to do the old one first) am I still able to get my data on the new one or is it gone forever

You have to do the email register in the correct order so the right progress is saved to the server.

However, there might still be a chance for you IF your old device has not yet been registered to any email address before.

This is what needs to be done.

    1. Get a new email address.

    Actions on the old device

    2. On your old device (with the right progress), start the App and note down your player ID just in case.

    3. Perform email register with the new email address. You should get a reward of a small amount of free gems.  Once this is done, your progress is linked to the new email address.

    Actions on the new device

    4. Delete the game on your new device and then re-install.

    5. Once the game starts up to the main menu, do the email register using the same email address as you have used on the old device and with any luck, you will get a set of code sent to your new email address for you to verify you are the account owner, once this is complete, you get to the ID conflict screen and be given a choice to reload the old progress onto the new device.
