What model is it thou? Cuz for this game you might need a mid range class tablet to be able to play smoothly (believe me, I've tried low range budgeted android devices but they always have problems, no choice dude). Even so I still encountered other bugs (sometimes Arena does & other times Penny Pursuit), so unless EA developers really give a concern to it this game always had the same problem, & I'm not surprise people wouldn't wanna play anymore because EA doesn't give a **bleep** much about it (I've been complaining about the Penny Pursuit issue & the same thing keeps happening again). 

I am using Oppo phone with 8+8 ram 256 memory, android 13. And play with smoothly.. chec

Me too, I even reinstall the app but same thing keep happening 

My device (android tablet) is 4 months old. Just crashed in practice mode. For some reason, it launched the app store.

Also, since the last update, I have been getting ad music in the background sometimes. I wonder if they are loading and playing ad's and it's those kinds of ad's that crash the app.

I think pvz2 now loading heavy and maybe not support your device.. try another device.. before you move another device, make sure you sync first with email where connect game.. good luck
