@HenryThePear I think you are doing fine with your setup (Chard Guard instead of TW). Higher level Pea-nuts should be able to break the gravestones without TW, Since you have a level 6 Blover you should definitely be able to do a "double strike" with Blover/Reinforce-mint/Chard Guard. For the double strike do the following (Chard Guards have to be in the most right column):

• Plant Blover
• Wait ~2sec
• Plant Reinforcemint
• Plant Blover

But I think it is hard to pull off when you have so much lag^^

Goal achieved: 2M with Level 1 plants 🙂 Had to use a strategy that originally didn't work so well. But with some refinement refinemint and good RNG it worked!

Tombstones are wreaking havoc (especially near the end) no matter how you try to plan open space.  Crafty devs.

@RogueYumei HAHAHAHA! I don't know yet...maybe the other level 1 plant guys will score higher. But I'm definitely gonna wear them until then! 🙂 

@lawmfw Yeah, I know what you mean. Tombstones are very annoying, this is why I plant three empty BVs in the back. It reduces the firepower because you have less Pea-nuts but at least a tombstone or potion won't mess up your gameplay.

You will get some rewards for 6/7th place but still be in Jade League next week !

The main reward for 6th or 7th in jade is 8 mints in each.

I'm going to take 1st in silver which has 80 mints, 165 gems and 5,400 coins.

Wow, what a plant  /s...

I hope we can find a different strategy. Shadow Peas slows down the zombies which is not too good but I think you need it to be save against Pilot Zombies and Jetpack Zombies.

Good idea. I'll give it a try. 

I tested Hurrikale but the recharge is just not fast enough to protect multiple rows ☹️

I tried different strategies but since Blover is banned this was the best level 1 plants strategy I could find (maybe a Witch Hazel/White Broccoli strat can score higher). It is all about RNG, though. That being said...I was able to score over 2M in my best practice match.

Caulipower tournament is so nuts,bombard is nerfed, i need an F2P strategy.

Or else i will sit out next 3 days.

@lawmfw I think Toadstool could work if you are able to plant them in the yellow zone...otherwise TS pulls them in a lower scoring zone :/

@HenryThePear Try a similar to mine but with Sqaush/Hurrikale instead of imitator against the Jetpacks. Use all your Plant Food to recharge Caulipower right at the start (when you have the suns for it). 

@HenryThePear Doesn't really matter that much...a Garg hypnotized by a level1 Caulipower is as good as a Garg hypnotized by a level 10 Cauli.

@PowerToss  Any luck with Grimrose powered by MF? Still haven't had a chance to try yet.

@RogueYumei Good idea. Grimrose might work. But I'm out of practice matches...after 20+ matches I got too frustrated and just picked up the Mints for completing the practice matches. This plant which shape indicates that it has a BIG BRAIN hypnotizes a basic zombie even though there are 5 Gargs on the lawn.

EDIT: Oh I looked up the fandom page...the chance to hypnotize a Garg is only 5% at level 1 whereas the change to hypnotize a basic zombie is 55%. I didn't know that :/
