What league are you in btw? I'm in Jade League. In lower leagues Zombies aren't worth so many points, so your score might be lower.

Last time the tournament was up Electic Blueberry seemed to work quite well. I don't have that plant so I might use this strategy:
Week 114 - Explode-o-Nut
I have done 3 rounds of 7 games with my level 1 profile and the best I have managed is 1.1M.
Boosted Imp Pear and Shadow pea are quite stable as I could get over 1M on most of the games.
I finally lost with the Level 1 BB strategy to and opp using high level mastery plants
therir 1.3M to my 990k (one of my best scores too)

Sunshroom works better. You get more sun and you can tap even moooooar!!!

gumnut can slow/stop zombies but not sure that is a good thing at all

Just prevent the Zomboss from doing one of his attacks by bringing his health bar down to 0 with Magnifying Grass. Level 1 plants need Pokra to slow him down.
@HenryThePear Moonflower works, too. You can try and replace Conceal-mint with Spear-mint but I think boosted Pokra slow down the Zomboss too much.

I agree. It's going to be a tough week for onesies. I'll wait for a better tournament to get some crowns for my level 1 profile.

Week 116 - Tumbleweed
I tried some practices when the system was down and they all got overran towards the end. I agree with @PowerToss it is better to wait till next one (and hope it is better) rather than wasting gauntlets.
@HenryThePear Actually, I have played a few games just now and found 1.5M is good enough for 7 wins, so with high level plants, one would find this week's tournament very easy. 👿

I hit 2.8M with your strategy a couple of times...so I decided to go for 3M. In the end it was a 3.3M 😉
