Week 325 pre-boosterama
Using the frozen mint trick, after a dozen or so practices, my level 1 plants only managed to peak at 1.8M, I doubt 2M is possible so will be focusing on my high level plants first and revisit in Boosterama.

3m might be possible with this strategy.
Ailmint and appeasemint freeze at 2.12ish instead of 2.30, but once they're frozen then they don't need planting again.
Use spare plantfood on imppears.
My other profile hasn't got a full almanac and the best i could manage was 700k without imppear.
3m is possible with onesies, but the freeze time isn't consistent in this boosterama.

I think your frozen double power mint strategy has a potential for a very high score but it requires ultra precise timing and hence the inconsistencies. I have had a few tries but failed to get the correct timing for both mints.
I opt for a single frozen power mint instead as it is easier to time and I focus on using the given plant foods to boost Imp Pear instead. The strategy below returns 3M average and peak at 3.4M so far.
Once i got Guardshroom, i stopped playing, but the freezing takes place somewhere in the 2.1-2.00 range, which isn't good for level 1 powermints have a duration of only 11 seconds and take a couple of seconds to activate on planting.
During the normal event the freeze time was consistently at 2.30, so it was far EAsier.
Even i missed both powermints with my onesies, planting a couple of torchwoods next to them would eventually defrost the peavines.
@MAGICDAVESHROOM The freezing wind does not activate according to the game time, it is activated when certain wave of zombies are entered/killed, in other words, the quicker you trigger the next wave, the earlier the freezing wind appears. That is why I said it was hard to time for double power mints.
Week 326 boosterama
The selection of zombies in this tournament is really tough for level 1 plants, it was not playable before boosterama, but even with the boosting effect on, my score is still well below average for 7 wins.
Seaflora boosterama with my broken onesies.
This is a bad tournament for them without imppear and i have tried several different strategies with little success.
The best i could manage is 1.5m using tile turnip and primal potato mines.
The balloon zombies just fly over them and set off my lawnmowers, which hurts my score.
@MAGICDAVESHROOM Have you try replacing potato mine with Blover or Draftodil?
Currently I am busy doing the quest and Penny Pursuits so will start playing boosterama with my level 1 profiles this weekend.
Blover is unfortunately banned and i don't have draftodil yet.
Cactus will shoot them down, but isn't plantable on lilypads.
Cactus also keeps on getting wiped out by Zcorpions.
I also don't have shinevine yet.
Now i have finished with my other onesie profile, i can use my other level one profile, which has a full set of plants.
Imppear/primal potato mine/tile turnip gets me 2-3m.
Week 329 boosterama
This is based on @MAGICDAVESHROOM 's 3.2M strategy without imitator. It averages around 3.2M and with good RNG I managed 3.5M so far. (Using the same startegy with my oldest L1 profile with an accidental level2 Imp Pear gets 3.9M)
Penny's pursuit Dartichoke tournament, level 2 ZPS trail on one chili.
EAsy win, but it only gives one bonus achievement.
Doesn't matter which perk you pick.
I used starfruit in case a miner jumped over my pokras, but none did.

I tried the same strategy at two chilis with the Bass Bass Boost perk.
They easily managed to bEAt the zombies and i got 25% ZPS as well as two bonus objective achievements.

Improved score in live play (without using the power mint so I could focus using my plant foods on Imp Pear). I hope 8M is possible.
Finally, with a good RNG, 8M is possible with level 1 plants. Mission accomplished.👿
Week 331 Zomboss tournament practice
I have already unlocked Aqua Vine on all of my L1 profiles but I was interested to see how far I can get with my level 1 plants using the frozen mint trick. Below is the best out of 5 practices. I think there might be room for small improvements. 👿

I though you were moving on for something different from PVZ2 since you finished study, have you missed out collecting any of the recently introduced aquatic plants?
Week 335 Zomboss tournament practice
I took out my level 1 plants to try with this end of season tournament just to see how far I can get. The strategy I use on my L8 profile seemed to work and 37M+ is the best I get out of three practices.
I managed to get to Zomboss's 40th health bar in live play for a few times but sadly there has been no 40M yet.
