Week 331 Zomboss tournament practice
I have already unlocked Aqua Vine on all of my L1 profiles but I was interested to see how far I can get with my level 1 plants using the frozen mint trick. Below is the best out of 5 practices. I think there might be room for small improvements. 👿

Nice setup and score! it is been a while since i used the frozen mint trick...
Thanks@HenryThePear
Long time no see and welcome back.
I though you were moving on for something different from PVZ2 since you finished study, have you missed out collecting any of the recently introduced aquatic plants?
- @eieio_31310 Thanks, I still play it occasionally, but i dont have actually have time to grind seeds now, so i just mostly play to unlock the new ones.
Week 335 Zomboss tournament practice
I took out my level 1 plants to try with this end of season tournament just to see how far I can get. The strategy I use on my L8 profile seemed to work and 37M+ is the best I get out of three practices.
I managed to get to Zomboss's 40th health bar in live play for a few times but sadly there has been no 40M yet.
Penny's pursuit-ZPS trail, partial profile with limited plants.
Level 2 on the ZPS trail gives an EAsy 25% ZPS and two bonus achievements at the two chili level.🌶🌶
Aquavine is a surprisingly effective plant, even at L1 as he squirts american footballers and running zombies back and does a lot of damage on dry land.
I should be EAsily be able to EArn the 250 seeds needed to unlock Stickybomb rice (another useful plant).
Penny's pursuit Stickybomb rice tournament, level 1 partial profile at one chili.🌶
This gives a fairly EAsy victory with a few gems.
A line of starfruits boosted with peavines will do a lot of damage and cuts down on Zomboss shooting missiles.

Week 336 Mangofier tournament practices
I think I will be sitting this one out with my level 1 plants as it could not even break 2M while high mastery can get over 9M easily.
Penny's pursuit ZPS trail, mission 1 on two chili setting.🌶🌶 and sunburst perk.
Gives two bonus perks and 25%ZPS.
It will get easier as sunburst perk levels up.
Plantfood a stickybomb rice if you get a full lawn.
Plant an aquavine on imppear to protect him and launch a lawnmower at a garg on c2 who threatens your imppear.
Penny's pursuit imppear Zomboss tournament, one chili🌶 with partial level 1 profile.
Slingpea boosterama, onesie partial profile.
Aquavines on pokras to start and use plantfood on stickybomb rice/aquavine at the back.
A great strategy and an excellent score for level 1 plants.
I tried to replace imitated Imp Pear by other insta-kill but the result was below 2M mark.
Week 337 boosterama tournament
My level 1 plants can only get to 2.4M which is just bordering on passing the 7-win streak. Might need to have another look at some alternative load outs this evening and see if I can get pass the 2.5M mark.
The best my onesies could manage was 2.9m.
I only play my level 1 profiles up to the 150 crown level and buy the rest of the seeds.
At least my full onesie profile has a full selection of plants to choose from.
Credit goes to @MAGICDAVESHROOM 's strategy. The Pokra and Aqua Vine sets a new standard for powerful combo for level 1 plants, even more than the Appease-mint trio!
3M club for level 1 plants for this tournament is now open for business. 👿
Penny's pursuit Goopy tournament, Zomboss level.
This works on one chili using the plantfood zombie perk.
The Rent a Plant feature let me use Mega Gatling Pea despite him still being locked in my partial profile.
I didn't lose a plant this time and got a few more sparkly gems.
Week 339 Zomboss tournament practice
A 15M+ strategy for 7-win streaks.
Penny's pursuit, EAsy two or three chili strategy for ZPS trail. 🌶 🌶 🌶
Used Sunbank perk. 🌞 🏦
Reinforcemint will activate infinut's shield ability and lightning reed will kill off stray chickens.
Always gets two bonus achievements.
Finally Mega Gatling Pea tournament so i can spray vitamin C enriched death on those zombies with my partial profile.
This strategy will work on one chili 🌶 and plants will freeze if not next to torchwood.
I use the Sunbank perk and this even gets me a few sparkly gems. 💎 💎 💎
Week 340 practice
I finally managed to get the Magofier to level 5 by finishing the 1000 crowns on the old backup iphone on all of my mastery profiles, just waiting for the Server Sync to work again so I can re sync. The next new Arena plant seems to be a little strange and I have not time to try out to see how useful it is and a quick practice on the next tournament seems to be (just about) playable with level 1 plants. I believe there are better strategies with L1 plants should take the score well over 2M.
Ref. Plant of the week quest - Olive Pit (level 5 - the last level)
This has been an excellent demo for the featured plant (albeit it was given at L10). I have been playing these plant of the week quest for as long as I remember and had not had lost any with my mighty level 1 plants but last night I had my defeat for I did not use the correct strategy.
After careful study, I have now found a strategy which allows my level 1 plants to pass this level without losing any lawn mowers. This is to generate suns and making good use of the Olive Pits and then saving the plant foods for the Repeater to take care of the final big gargs.
Week 340 further practices
I managed to get near to 4M but to be honest, this score is not enough for a 7-win streak (I think 7M is required for this tournament) so I might be leaving my level 1 plants for the next Boosterama.
I decided to turn my full level 1 profile into an exactly half level profile the same as Long Vu's mid level profile and turn my partial profile into my level 1 profile.
Most of my plants go to L3,4 or 5 but i have run out of coins.
This particular strategy scores quite well for the lower plant levels and might work for my new level 1 profile if it had scaredyshroom. (147/196 plants).
Imppear turns them to imps and a tile turnip placed in the middle of each block where the shinevines are will wipe the lawn.
