This is Rackman70s strategy, appeasemint family is supposed to be ineffective but my mighty Nastery starfruits might possibly be multiplied by peavy and appeasemint.
I just drop a tiger grass onto a power tile and leave it.

@MAGICDAVESHROOM What mastery level is your Bowling Bulb at? if it is above M100 you should be able to use it to easily get 25M+ scores.
I have had a few practices on my oldest profile where its level is over mid-Mastery, the highest I have is 28M and the lowest being 25M, but honestly I am not proud of this score as it makes me feel cheating so will not be using it for the games.
@eieio_31310 my Starfruit is m110, it is the only mastery plant in that line up.
I thought i was doing well with an 18m+ score.

Have you tried boosting the attacking power of your Headbutte lettuce and Tiger Grass by using Enfocre-mint instead of Power lily?
(I ask because both of your front attackers are much weaker comparing to your Star Fruit)
Nice score @MAGICDAVESHROOM . Recommend using Starfruit on the Power Tiles and Boosting Pea Vine, when the Zomboss lands. Easily score optimally.
Finally, have a lucky RNG and broken 22M with my mastery profile without the use of Appease-mint plants.
Not as high as @FantastiXxPVZ 's outstanding score, but I manage to join the 16M club alone with @MAGICDAVESHROOM s non-mastery profile.

I re-arranged the setup to suit my plant levels and made use of the feature plants Blockoli to block zombies (I guess to the new plant, all zombies are called oli?) at the high scoring zone and can now join @FantastiXxPVZ at the dizzy high of the high end of 16M. 👿

@HenryThePear no, there is no need to spam imp pear.
You just need to time the deployment of plant foods on the tiled imp pear correctly. This is because if zombies are killed too quickly, a big gap of no zombies appears and resulting a drop in Zombie Difficulty level. Same applies to killing the zombies too slow or too late, it prevents the others coming out to join your arena and you have not enough zombies for the final score.
You should have noticed my setup and strategy is slightly different to @FantastiXxPVZ 's video, this is because my plant levels are different to his.
