I see.

FYI, I have marked next Wednesday, 27th on my PVZ2 calendar to be my shopping day, it is when gem bulk-buying Pea Vine is available, maybe you can make use of your 'emergency' gems. I suspect the devs are planning to drain our gem reserves....  👿

Finished Mega Gatling Pea tournament in my mid level profile so went seed buying in the store.

But it cost me 1,263 gems just to get it to L6 (35 purchases) and would cost me a further 3,245 gems to take him to L7, unfortunately I'm not made of gems so I'm going to do what i normally do and hope it turns up as featured plant in penny's pursuit.

Had EA not stuck the +3 gems per purchase i would have probably just spent 850 gems to take him to L7.

(My Laptop has died so i can no longer use bluestacks to play pvz2).

It cost me a further 1,700 sparkly gems to take MGP to L7, at least he's maxed out in my mid level profile.

A combination of 10x+3 gem pinatas and when they got too expensive, taking a chance on getting 5x seeds in the flat rate 24x gems pinatas plus a few from pinata party.

It would now cost me 43x gems for 10x MGP seeds.

Nice mid level Mega Gatling Pea.  It has proved to be powerful for this tournament for my level 1 profiles.  I was able to actually earn it on all of my active level 1 profiles rather than 'spending' gems.  👿

    @eieio_31310

I had no problem getting MGP seeds for my level 1 profile (AKA James Frond, licensed to thrill) and am currently working on getting levitator seeds at the rate of one seed per ad.

So far (including quest seeds) i have another 100 seeds needed to unlock him before i have to worry about spending gems.

MGP will make sure you get your 5 a day, whether you like it or not. 🍈🍈🍈🍈🍈

Zoybean goes skiing tournament 3m-ish strategy.

Concentrate on planting caulis and witch hazel because of sun, at the start put game into turbo mode and wait 10 seconds to get a massive burst of sun once you hit 'lets rock' (pro tip).

Use plantfood to refresh enchantmint towards the end and use him on high value zombies or groups.

@MAGICDAVESHROOM   This is a creative strategy to take care of Jester and chicken zombies.

Have you tried Turkey Pult and Draftodil?  I am just wondering how these two would do at mid level.

    I tried @eieio_31310 's

8M nastery strategy on my midsies but the best i could do was 4.8m, unfortunately plants are too expensive at L7 and my Moonflowers got munched.

I switched to goldbloom and used my plantfoods to refresh her for a large burst of quick sun at the start but there is simply never enough sun to start planting torchwoods as a barrier.

My enchantmint family strat, though lower scoring can EAsily handle chickens, jesters and octopi and i am going back to that.

The 8M strategy was for leveled up mastery plants and I believe it is plant level dependent.

I have only managed 6M with level 8 plants and a sharp drop in score is expected for level 7 plants because of a) higher sun cost and b) lower firing power.

At 4.8M you have already beaten the Turkey Pult and Sticky Bomb Rice strategy from TheRealGamer.

I think 5m+ might be possible with RNG using my midsies, but i still prefer my magical plants for grinding with it's 3m-ish score.

Zoybean isn't really necessary but she doesn't get out much.

Double Caulipower gives a steady 3.4m.

Just keep planting him inside shine vines for protection.

This gives a fairly consistent 8m+.

Save the plantfood for the end seconds for imppear to imp as many zombies as possible.

Nice use of TigerGrass but I think in this boosterama there are quite a few streak breakers set at higher than 8M.

Have you tried double Imp Pears with Appease-mint plants?

By Appease-mint plants I am thinking of Mega Gatling Pea+ Pea Vine + Torch Wood., as the jesters are no longer a threat after they are transformed into imps.  in non boosterama, one of the difficulties with lower level plants is that you do not get enough suns to setup the attacking force quickly but with double Imp Pears costing 0 sun, the Appease-mint strategy might just be viable.

My mighty midsies can score up to 3.6m with imppear,  bowling bulb.

    Usual score is around 3.2m.
