i found it ok in terms of waiting time. Once you finished all the quests, all you need to do everyday is fill your meter up and fight zomboss. That gives you 24 hours and a few ads and if you can play the hard level, it will add more ZPS to the counter with fewer plays and then you are done for the day~~~ I have 2 devices which gives me more fuel so I can get the counter full without waiting. And then now I am off to grind arena xD well maybe.. HMmm....maybe when everyone is preoccupied with penny, i can sneakily creep up the rank~~~

on the second day of zomboss he dropped 5 gems for me each round for 15 gems. Excellent 

Speaking of perks, how do you access them in a game? I used sun break on the 'plan your defense' and that was easy enough. But then I chose 'chill all zombies' - the one that looks like snow and I didn't get how to use it. I hit the snow button and got charged coins for it. And since I was thinking it would automatically chill every zombie on board, all I ended up doing was freezing one zombie to absolute Kelvin.

Do perks show up as a special icon or something?

The Perks Auto-Activate. It should say in the description that it activates every 30 seconds (which decreases in recharge time when you level the perk up). All the perks auto-activate, so you don't actually have to do anything. They're basically additional mission modifiers that apply in your favor. My favorite is Chill, of course, since the crowd-control is extremely beneficial in this game.

Does anyone know how to complete the objective "destroy 30 surfboards"? Is it just RNG how many Surfer spawn? I failed three times already...

@HenryThePear What was you load-out? I think I get the idea behind it. If there is a surfboard on tile already and you kill a surfer zombie he won't drop his surfboard on that tile...so you'll miss out on it. I just don't know how to destroy the surfboards fast enough.

Level 1 plants could not do much against surf boards for the hardest level but mastery plants had no trouble reaching the goal for the hardest level

PPM destroys surf boards even for easiest level and I did achieve the 20 surfboard goal for Level 1 PPM

Finally I completed the objective "destroy 30 surfboards" with my level 5 profile. The load-out that worked was: Zoybean, Pokra, PPM, Hurrikale, Imp-Pear.

and what is the point of this ?

I reached 100% so played three Zombos levels (one chilli seeing as it was my Level 1 profile) and earned 30 Hot Date seeds, about 5.2k coins, and 6 GEMs...so now I wait until tomorrow to do it again ?

There is not really a point in completing any objectives. You can level up your Perks by completing objectives but that's about it. I wasted 90 gems on fuel to get the Surfboard objective and all I have now is the satisfaction that I completed it xD Totally worth it!

I planted PPM on C1+C2, Zoybean on C3+C5 (yep with a empty column in between), and Pokra on C6. No PPM close to where the Zombies spawn. I used the Sun Perk. The idea is that the Surfers drop there surfboards one by one on different columns. I used Imp-Pear to trigger some surfboards. There is definitely RNG involved. I destroyed exactly 30/30 xD Maybe your higher level BB or Laserbean do the trick.
