Re: Please remove Exit Button

I have also had this popup appear appear twice during the first few weeks of Battlez. On both occasions it came after a win, and resulted in me losing out on streaks of 60+ and 100+. (I'd kept spamming the [RETRY] button for ages, but to no avail).

On each occasion my internet checked out fine, with full connectivity on other apps on my tablet - PLUS full wireless connectivity on another device while that message was still displaying in P vs Z 2, yet I ended up having to hit the [EXIT] button.

My best guess is that it's something purposely implemented at the server end, and is a devious and more extreme ploy used as a last resort by EA for if their numerous streak busting killer bots (Which they claim don't exist - YEAH, RIGHT!) don't take you down.

At least with losing out to the (Non-existent) bots you can choose to retain your streak with gems, but this way they leave you with no alternative but to surrender your streak!!

Note the way it says "YOUR internet connection has been lost", yet I know for a fact that it WAS NOT at my end on either occasion. [Insert suitable swear word to express your opinion of EA's underhand tactics]

Of course there COULD be an alternative way. One where if we hit the [EXIT] button we lose out on the win, but automatically retain the rest of our streak without using any gems. This would HAVE to be dependant on the result of the current match being a win for the player concerned, otherwise someone who lost a match could abuse it.

It happens to me often Humplemann. Almost 30 times a day and I have never had to hit Exit yet. My trick works every time. Thank goodness.

There is a much better solution that they should do to fix that problem. Your streak is loaded from the server when ever the game is reloaded or a battlez is lost or never finishes. They could simply check then for the loss and offer the gems in order to continue your streak or let you start from the beginning again. They could show this in the same button that shows the gauntlet x1. It could be like this:
after a loss
[🧤x1 💎x250 Play] [Reset]
after a win
[🧤x1 Play]
They should move the [How To Play] button somewhere else on the screen.
This way if your game crashes or you try and cheat by closing it then you will still have to pay the gems no matter what. But at least you don’t just automatically lose your streak.

I lost my first streak of 300 when I accidentally loaded my web browser and it had too many pages open. Forced the game to reload while I was still in the middle of a battlez match.
Second streak was around 500 and I lost it to the game freezing right after the timer finished on a battlez match.
Thrid streak was also around 300 and lost it to the game reloading after a phone call in the middle of a battlez.
My forth streak is at 1100 at the moment. But I’m scared I’ll lose it any day now to something dumb. I’ve still never had to pay for any gems. I’m still working off the gems I earned back when I was beating all the levels and the time I was playing before Battlez ever came out. The only money spent so far is on buying the plants themselves.

I used to get this multiple times a day too. Luckily I've minimized my games now so it's much less common. I don't ever buy gauntlets anymore, have too many to get rid of actually.

Ya I get more gauntlets from the battlez rewards then it is possible to spend plus the three free ones each day. Mine will just keep going up. Maybe they will come out with some other use for gauntlets someday and I’ll get to use them.
