Next week tournament was the one I posted earlier this week with shadow peashooter.
Just 400 suns at the beginning, lots of threats, I guess there will be many strategies this week.
Pile turnip + shadow peashoter (or a mix with ppm ?) seems to be a good option seeing shadow peashooter pf effect 🤓
@BBnot8 I have just tried it, first impression, it is not really that good at level 1.
@eieio_31310 Did you tried it with moonflower ?
It's probably the most versatile plant: laser ; so no problems against jester; +stallia effect+ grimrose effect + explosive pf effect.
And it's only 125 sun.
So it may not be that powerful but still pretty interesting I think, and cheaper than many other plants.

@BBnot8 Hmm. just by itself because I tried it on the profile where I have not yet obtained moonflower and that might have been the reason. Will do this again later tonight and hopy it is better. Thanks.
@eieio_31310 I guess they make more damages with moonflower like all other plants of the family.
I think that for example they can pull 3 zombies into the ground when they get close instead of 1 without moonflower. (like grimrose)
Would be interesting to have the lvl 1 expert opinion on it 🤫

I think moon + dusk + tile turnip + ppm could be a a good option.
I managed to do 1M but I'm sure I can do way better. There are just too many things to handle this week.
I'm starting only with moon to get lot of sun quickly else it is too difficult to get sun.
I think dusk lobber is a good option to deal with the chicken.

I got 600K for my 1st attempt with my level 1 plants -- using the shady peashooter as EA intended us to.

I applied the same strategy with my high level plants and got a better result - 1.8M. I think I can improve my score by leaving the peashooter out as on my last count, someone has made 4M with F2P (maxed out) plants. So I am confident 2M should be possible using the Bowling Buld strategy.

Below is my strategy of this week. I managed to score over 1.7 million with this setup, 1.2 million is average score. It’s always sweet to beat Premium Players.
I think this week's plant is awesome. Just the damage is not enough at level 1 to wipe out the chickens. I am currently trying to unlock mine by playing a lot of BattleZ matches to get seed packets I am currently 175/250 seems to take forever. I think that after it gets a few levels it will be able to wipe out the chickens and then I can stop using Spikeweed and instead use bombardmint.
Thoses chickens are so fuc.king annoying.
If you are not lucky and get plenty of them at the beginning of the game, you are pretty much screwed 😞

As a premium player i like to beat anyone, I've managed over 3 million twice this week, and yes, caulipower was involved. I also managed to lose 2 million to 6 million.
@eieio_31310 Have you seen a good strategy for F2P player with mid lvl plants.
I'm doing well on the 9 10 first game but if I want to do a streak after that, my ratio really drop...

My jade league this week has very low scores I am sitting in the lead with 509 crowns most of what I scored in the first 2 days , the no 2 is sitting at 262 and the no 3 at 261. It is going to be interesting to see what happens in the last hour or 2 . I like to score a lot in the first 2 days if I have time it scares the others away . I found if you lead by 40 or 50 the guy in second place will keep passing you the whole week and then you will need like 800+ crowns to win .which just isn't worth it unless you have a good streak going the week. Next week's tournament is a little stupid no powerful zombies and you have to use the stupid grave buster as a plant which wastes 1 slot
I was doing a pis.sing contest with the 1st/2nd but at some point I stopped it, was not worth it 😎
Has anyone already got a Shadow Peashoteer Pinata Battlez reward ?
Like last week I got 60 seeds in a Modern Day Pinata (so containing also other seedss) with a streak below 100.
If I got less seeds than that with a bigger streak and a Pinata with just SP seeds, it would be really disappointing.
And tbh, I'm kinda expecting that it's going to happen 😞
Else, is it me, or if you don't have Bombardmint this week, and especially at high level, you are kinda screw ?
At first the concept is original but then you are like "OK so I don't have the plant of the week and won't use it a lot. I need grave buster, cool, another useless plant. And if bombardmint don't destroy the grave in the back, I'm kinda screwed"
Looks like it will not be easy for F2P players I (just when there are shadow peashooters seeds, that's convenient !)
With a higher streak (reward x2) and a Pinata just for SP, I got 40 shadow peashooters seeds, so less than last week in a Modern Day Pinata with a lower streak ( reward x1)

Just so you know, Bombard-mint does not hit zombies that are on spikerocks so Spear-mint + Bombardmint may not be a good combo in fact.
A decent F2P strategy with mid+ lvl plant that I adapted from Jacob2of3 on Reddit (his strategy below if you want to try it 🙂)
My setup :
(Parsnip lvl 1
Grave Buster lv l5)
Laser Bean lvl 7
Bloomerang lvl 7
Lighning Reed lvl 6
Spear-Mint lvl 4
First I used the grave buster (oh original !) on the last lane
Then I planted a bloomerang and used 2 plant foods to clear the last lane (maybe a higher bloomerang would recquired only one plant food)
Then I planted Laser Bean - Bloomerang to clear the columns. Try not to have a column with just bloomerang and one with Laser Bean, but instead try to keep the same ratio between the different columns.
I used also lightning reed. To be honest I don't know if it is a good move or not. But I'm not sure that I could use all the sun in the 3 min and if LB was quick enough to recharge.
When all the graves are destroyed, I used spear-mint then plant food on it an planted it again.
I was able to plant another spear-mint at the end of the game.
I got 950k at my first try, so I guess it's a decent F2P strategy for mid+ lvl plants but there might be some room for improvment.

"I found a good strategy for this week. My setup is gravebuster cherry bomb laser bean laser bean imitated (could be replaced with bloomerang if you did not get the gem imitator) and spear-mint. Set up. Wait for the first gravebuster then use plant food to recharge. Then use the last two plant foods for two cherry bombs. The last three lanes should be cleared. Then launch a lawn mower at a zombies to get a head start on the next wave. Then plant laser beans to get rid of the graves. Once all gone plant a spear-mint. plant 5 rows of laser beans (if higher level plant more). around 40 seconds (depending on level of your plants) you should have your second spear-mint, plant it. My scores usually ranges from 1 million to 1.6 million with my current level."

Cause yesterday Bowling Bulb was buffed but EA nerfed it after... (and nerfed the plant of the week too duh...)

Yesterday I didn't play today yet will check it out later, getting tired of EA changing the plants halfway through the tournaments.
