Yes, far as I know the cost for Gauntlets is the same. How long they last depends upon how much you play. There is still the 4 FREE per day from Ads plus a FREE play every 4 hours

- There is also a Gauntlet as the prize for the first win in the 7 win loop, so at least 1/7 of your plays are refunded.
So does the reward multiplier ever come back or does the 7 loop just keep repeating?
It just keeps repeating. I just finished my 7th win with this Streak, an animation played where the check marks for the 7 wins disappeared, and and exact same 7 prizes reappeared.
For reference, the prizes are...
1: 1 Gauntlet
2: 4 Mints
3: 2 Premium Piñatas
4: 3000 Gold
5: 3 Themed Piñatas (currently lightning)
6: 6 Mints
7: 4 Premium Piñatas
I am in Silver league, if it matters.

Well this sucks really bad compared to my 3900 streak and the rewards I was getting by an enormous amount.
Has as anyone figured out how to make the new mint show up in the store? I still see the Filamint.

The front page of the Seasons pop up says that I have 23 days for the Zoybean tournament, but the second page says that we have 3 days for Zoybean and then it Switches to Apple Mortar for the next week, and Apple Mortar again for the third week.
Maybe I am over analyzing this and reaching the wrong conclusion, but I am worried that I won’t be able to unlock Zoybean, let alone level him up, if the prizes switch to Apple Mortar themed prizes when the week ends. 200 crowns in 1 week is very steep, considering that I usually get around 50 or 60 on a normal week, and 120 when I really get into it.
Not to mention that Apple Mortar seed packets are completely useless to me, since I don’t own him. This will especially make the 3rd week pointless, because the name of the 3rd week implies that it will focus on boosting Apple Mortar... I would greatly prefer to have World Piñatas as prizes...
I hope that it just affects the starting load out, and not the prizes.

Unfortunately for me it wouldn't let me continue playing this evening.......I HAD to update.
Lost my 1400+ streak.....
Feels just like a needle pierced a balloon.........
Time to start my streak again.
Fortunately I was able to amass during my last streak - 10,000 mints - 2000 gauntlets - 3250 gems - almost 3 million coins
And not to mention a LOT of mastery plants and upgrades - so it was good while it lasted!
p.s. I don't like this new plant

I'm still playing BattleZ tonight...hope to complete the x9 multiplier and my goal is M200 for Escape Root. M192 now !!
Beat the clock - just before 2 AM CST (1:56 AM to be precise) I collected the necessary Escape Root seed packets to achieve M200. Now it is time to go to bed. Spent an extra hour since I figure, from all the feedback online tonight, that I will wake up tomorrow AM and find that I have to update to 7.3.1 in order to play BattleZ Seasons.
I can go to bed satisfied !!!!

Congrats on the M200. I did the same about 1 hour before it made me update. Escape root is my first and only M200 plant. I also fear that it will be the last unless they change something. It takes close to 30k seeds to get a plant from M1 to M200 and I just don’t see how it’s feasible anymore.
I don’t need to ever spend gems anymore. They 1 to 7 thing is so boring. I will probably stop playing again and find another game to fill my time. Maybe go back to shadow legends. Once I get to 1000 crowns then I won’t be playing till the next one comes out.
Not to mention the gold gain now is so low that if I was to keep upgrading every plant that I would probably run out. So I’m going to stop upgrading plants unless I use them in a battlez. Save my gold just in case. I would suggest that you guys all do the same.
One thing I still don't get is why when you go to the shopping cart section - the featured mint is never the one that is actually being used in that particular week's battlez.
For example - Fila-Mint this week - has nothing to do with the "forced plant" - Zoybean Pod.
To me, it seems like it's been like that much of the time - the mint not matching up with the battlez featured plant for the week.
Also, I agree with many of the comments with the new format - the new tournaments - the new streaks/rewards - not too crazy about any of it, to be honest.
Any yes, it's confusing about one battlez lasting 26 more days, and another starting in 3 - are there going to be 2 tournaments going on at the same time?
One last thing - congrats to those who hit Escape Root 200M - fortunately, I had done it BEFORE the forced upgrade.
EDITED to ADD: Oh now I get it - the current tournament DOES END in 3 days - then the new one begins.
The confusion was seeing 23 days where it mentions "Zoybean Birthdayz Season" - time remaining is 23 days when you click on the season tab.
But under the tournament tab, it does say "Zoybean Pod Tourament" - 3 days remaining - and "Apple Mortar Tournament" - 2 days until the tournament begins.

Many weeks the POTW is not useful in BattleZ. IMHO mints are not very useful at all unless at L10. Other plants have similar if not exact features except for the plant family boost which is helpful in the HEAT of Battle.....

The update didn’t come for me until I reloaded the game by mistake. So do everything in your power to keep your game from reloading.
The Gem Tax seems to be a flat 20.
This 7 streak limit is for the birds - so are the rewards.
Thank goodness I had that streak for the length of time that I did.
The only negative is that I'm a few days behind in this current tournament because I held out updating until I had to.
Now I'm trying to catch up and accumulate enough wins to get the seeds for the Zoybean Pod - for a 'mere' 40 wins 🙂
Good luck playing catch up. I am afraid I will be in that position as well soon enough but if I can make it to Tuesday then I guess I will have to wait for the next time for Zoybean.

I honestly don't think you're missing anything with Zoybean.
Even if I get 40 wins = 100 seeds (I assume because it's locked) - you have to get 300 wins to get 150 seeds - 500 wins to get 200 seeds and 1000! wins to get 300 seeds - forget trying to get that before the tournament ends!
(Keep in mind that you have 23 days to accumulate those seeds overall - but the Zoybean Tournament itself will be long over)
What I don't get is there aren't ANY Zoybean seeds in the rewards section - the only way you can seeds to get a LOT of wins.
The last tournament had LOTS of Escape Root seeds - and the tournament before had lots of dandelion seeds in it, if I remember correctly.
Correct about the final BattleZ tournaments. I raised Escape Root from M47 to M200 in less than two weeks as I played my way through the end of the x3 multiplier, X4, X5, X6, X7, X8, and finally reached my 'goal' late late last night in X9 multiplier in the 820's.
Grapeshot I raised from below M50 to M150 exactly the previous BattleZ when I was still in the x10 multiplier.
It has been insane.

Yep. But there is zero reason to ever pay it. A streak of 6 or less is nothing to pay to keep. No one should be spending gems anymore and gold will become the hardest thing to get.

That was something I never considered worthwhile when the multipliers were still active and we got loads of coins from the rewards. (160,000 for the final coins award at the end of the 98 match cycles with a x10 multiplier.)
Under the new regime (Where the only coins award is for 3,000) it'll become more important, but considering the length of time it'll take to level plants up in 7.3 it won't exactly be a matter of urgency.
