Seems EA wants to give me a challenge, my Practice room changed to Boosterama mode already with new layout of tombstones, but in Battlez, it still no boosted plants at all, the layout of tombstones still not changed yet. Had to fight 5 battles with normal mode, against boosterama opponents till now.
I think the second stage -- boosterama should be on in just less than 3 hours time. That is EST 12:00
Practice mode is 24 hours before the tournament, including boosted tournaments.

My shame, remembered wrong time, thought that Boosterama started already 😊😊😊
No worry, happens to all of the best ones too !
Level 5 Dazey Chain achieved just 10 minutes before the clock expired. Hurray, 1000 crowns reached yet again.
Congrat!
I need more 50 crowns to get that target.
Just tested with Blueberry Electronic, need 2 shocking to kill it, or need uncountable PPM.
Seems best way to remove them is blow them away or Shrink Violet.
Enforce-mint will shrink Gargantuars.

Witch hazel, enchantmint.
all mints are L10 and all plants are Mastery except L9 Witch Hazel (WH)
3.2M using L9 Witch Hazel (WH) and Enchant-mint with dual Primal Potato Mine (PPM) and Sun-shroom
2.5M using Caulipower and Enchant-mint with dual Primal Potato Mine (PPM) and Sun-shroom
2.5M using Electric Blueberry and Enchant-mint with dual Primal Potato Mine (PPM) and Sun-shroom
2.0M using Electric Blueberry, Electric Peashooter, and Fila-mint with Primal Potato Mine (PPM) and Sun-shroom
2.0M using Electric Blueberry and Fila-mint with dual Primal Potato Mine (PPM) and Sun-shroom
4M average using Blover/Chard Guard (for Gargantuars), Laser Bean (LB), Primal Potato Mine (PPM), SUN producer (to add LBs)
same score using Reinforce-mint in place of LB
a bit higher score using Bowling Bulb in place of LB
start with PPMs in far right column and a row of LB or BB far left
add SUN to be able to add more LB or BB in second and third columns
Bombegranate in middle columns does make life easier until the final 30 seconds of insanity !!
just trying to find a spot to place a plant is an adventure !
try leaving a lawn space in the bottom left corner...
4.7M Modern Day plants (Shadow Pea, Dusk Lobber, Conceal-mint, Power Lily, MoonFlower)
Column 3 is Shadow Pea, middle rows for Dusk Lobbers, outer rows for Shadow Pea
5.113M hurray
just kept adding Dusk Lobbers in the middle columns once the Gargantuars started appearing AND, more importantly, kept Conceal-mint active on the lawn for the final 2 minutes !

Can you post a picture of your final layout please?

Using Modern day plants gives me maximum 3.2m till now, could not follow you. With BB, my best is 4.2m.
Schizocarp: I cannot post a screenshot except what is above. I did add one MoonFlower in Column 4 when I ran low on SUN and once I began using Conceal-mint I added Dusk Lobbers (DL) in columns 4,5,6 in the middle rows to start with (until the final 30 seconds) and added Shadow Peas (SP) in the top and bottom rows (then replaced some of those SPs during the final 30 seconds of chaos). At the final 30 seconds the Tombstones popped up again and it was a scramble to identify a free space and also to swap SP for DL as much as possible...
When you surrender in Practice you do not have a chance to take another screenshot of the lawn.
Below is a screenshot from last week which is pretty close...to the layout for this result in Practice room
Coldwind73, my top score is due to high Mastery Modern Day plants (the first family of plants that I spent thousands of GEMs and months playing World Pinata Tracker twice daily strengthening as much as possible before BattleZ was introduced)
I am pleased you were able to reach 4.2M with Bowling Bulb !
Hackers on Reddit have posted of reaching that level. Kudos to a game played exceedingly well.
This week would be mine @lawmfw , as I remember you didn't have Torchwood.
Some tests done and highest score nearly 11m is formation of: double Power Lily, Torchwood, Pea-nut and Reinforce-mint.
@Coldwind73 With maxed out mastery plants, some have broken 40M! The highest being 47M so far.

I know, with max M level, most of attack hit to the boss as normal zombies died quickly and that makes critical advantage.A chance to play a few matches tonight...have to give Reinforce-mint a shot just without Torchwood !
18.9M over 20M if the 1.3M on the screen is not already counted as I paused with 2 seconds left !!
Bowling Bulb in C2 and C3 to begin
load Sqaush/Tile Turnip in C1 (add Tile Turnips to Bowling Bulbs when you can do so)

Same formation and strategy, but I could get around 8m only, Zomboss continuously kill my plants because not enough damage to make him unconsious.
Coldwind73
Mastery does make a difference. L10 Tile Turnip is also a huge factor.
You are not able to achieve 4 columns of Bowling Bulbs ?
8M is still an excellent result. And exemplifies the difference from having non Mastery plants to Mastery plants.
Mastery Bowling Bulb achieves >1M with Primal Potato Mine, Bombard-mint, Tile Turnip
sometimes there is very little SUN from the SUN-shrooms ! anyone else notice this ?
My formation of Lightning Reed, double PPM, Sun-shroom, Cherry Bomb got 900k-1.3m. Most scores came from PPM with continuously feeding by Plant food.
This is by far the worst week yet...
Inconsistency with sun, plant food and time between zombies.I use the same combo ......scores range anywhere from less than 100K to 1.1M
Also when Yeti appears and does his moonwalk.........absolutely nothing happens on my screen for at least 10 seconds.
Ditto CCMark2013, inconsistency is the word for this week. My scoring range is similar to yours even with Mastery plants.
COLDWIND73, I am in the range of 750K - 1.1M with mastery Lightning Reed. Good choice.
3 scores ~1M with different sets of Mastery plants
Bowling Bulb, Lightning Reed, and Citron planted far left, Snap Pea to the right of Citron (use most of Plant Food on Snap Pea)
So I'm using double Witch Hazel - which paired with Enchant-mint - eventually knocks off Yeti's head - but no bonus scores or anything for doing that!?
Also, not sure if I just never got the memo or what - but have found out recently that more times than less, you get PF whenever you let loose one of your lawnmowers in the very beginning.
Has anyone else heard of this or experienced this?
I've tried it several times and it seems to work most of the time.

Don't forget that letting loose a lawnmower incurs a heavy scoring penalty in Battlez.
