What is a Modern Day zombie? Every time the quest comes up to defeat 50 Modern Day zombies, I have to go to Danger Zone because all of the levels only have 5 or 6 Modern Day zombies. Annoying. ☹️

- @linuxPigPen level 1 modern day is a good choice..
Day 1 is always the simplest in every world. Modern Day 3 is an easy one to 'learn' the pattern so it can be used repeatedly. Using Blover for Pirate Seas and Modern Day Day 1 will be very helpful !!

Day? Plant a Wasabi Whip in the square to the right of a time warp. Kills everything coming out! And the little buggers can't touch him.

For a F2P alternative, you can also use Bonk Choy or Split Pea.
(Hope I have not given away I have been playing too many Modern Day quests.... 👿)
- @eieio_31310 I think I used to use Bonk Choy. I never really got the hang of Split Pea except on Prospectors.
When I grind in Modern Day, I just bring in Moonflower, Gold Bloom, Gold Bloom Imitator, Nightshade, Shadow Pea, Conceal Mint and Grapeshot. Admittedly not F2P but it goes through every level like hash. Just for grins I may try F2P with Split Pea. That plant just always weirds me out when it comes up in Inzanity. Need to learn capabilities.
L10 goldbloom, L10 spearmint and one L10 slingpea or homing thistle (for flying zombies) is all you need. (Yawn)

LOL. For maxed out plants, you don't even need Gold Bloom. (I have stopped using Gold Bloom now as it is no longer F2P)
Guess I can understand your 'Yawn'. That is what I mean of max level plants, apart from making it less interesting to gather more seed packets for further updates, I found that they slowly making me lazy and dumb-down creative game plays.
Level 10 spearmint will kill any normal sized zombies, including bucketheads. (Adventure mode).
and you can dig up the Spikerocks for extra SUN

I'm grinding the neck outta Far Future. Spearmint level 6 and blover is all you need. No challenge but I'm just looking for seeds right now. Oh snd imp pear for those pesky imp aliens.
Well, praise the Lord and pass the ammunition. Finally got my 1.5 second Blover on my 2nd pinata tracker. Gawd I am sick of Far Future. Time to go get sick of Modern Day again.
LOL - it does get to be a daily grind does it not ??
