I'm not having any trouble defeating the Zomboss on mid difficulty with level 5 plants. Usually I have like 30sec+ left. Even with level 1 plants and a slightly different load-out the Zomboss can be (easily) defeated on low difficulty.

Thank you! I used this set up in extra spicey (leaving out Squash), but my plants are ranging from mid to high. I barely made it in my first try, but got several seconds (and around 3 gems) left in the second attempt.
@Perfume-shroom92I think I've seen PowerToss' low level Magnifying Grass strats in some Arena level when someone posted them on PvZ reddit comments. I tried to imitate one but to no avail, since I just can't manage the tappings with MGs 😃
When I see some gameplay videos, I think in some cases, tapping skill/fast finger is necessary too in addition to strategies, lol. Not only with strats with micro-management plants like MG, but like the Boosterama with lots of planting and digging (Imp Pear I'm looking at you).

ZackScott surely does like his Electric Pea (as much as I like my Pyre Vine, perhaps, lol). I did the same mistake as him, trying out the Extra Spicy level the first day, and failed at all three attempts 🤭
I tried to use Bowling Bulb, but without bringing Appease-mint, and it turned out just not enough.
Now I'm actually curious if his Electric-Pea strats might actually work with some more workaround with the other plants line up. Sadly I don't have it to try it out 😳
He used his M74 electric Pea and lv6 fila mint every every single tournament.how boring.

Yeah, I wasted 10 minutes of my life watching a Scott vid where he lost a Zomboss three times in a row... much prefer The Real Gamer.

Is there anyone else who is confused by this Zomboss health bar thing? Last Pursuit I got him with Jalapeno. Nuts to that - not this time. Someone, I think PowerToss, mentioned Squash to add to the BB - Appease-mint lineup. Still, it helps to know what you're trying to do when when the objective is to mess with Z's wossname - health bar? - 7 or 9 or however many times it is.

As a new players against Zomboss it's like: "Clear out 5 health bars. The first 2 can be cleared out for free, for the other 3 you have to pay 4.99€ to be able to clear them out." I gave my poofshrooms plant seed and it wasn't doing any damage.

I have accidentally put Shine Vine onto Magnifying Grass and discovered it becomes self firing... No need for taping.
