Reinforce-mint needs a patch

So I came back to the game recently and heard the springbean+blower combo got patched - regarding the competitive arena matches, it only makes sense, it would basically become a spamming contest. But then consider doind the same for reinforce-mint. Tryhards who already unlocked that can d the exact same thing as with spring bean and steal cheap wins without any effort. Just using plant food to refresh the mint and spamming it non-stop, especially if they have imitater. Makes matches extremely onesided.

  • @CoffeeTonic There is a level 1 mini forum here and players like powertoss and fantastix have used level 1 plants to create scores that even I can't create with mid level plants. That said you might want to have a look at the mid level forum if that is where your plants are. I don't think violet is the best use in this current tournament. Also you can't really spam with a level 1 blover...the recharge is way too slow. Maybe its just to alter your strategy, look at some youtube videos and find the best strat that works for you.

    Thank you!

Yes, I missed them. Actually the last time I played this game there were no leveling mechanic at all. Also I have no idea how I ended up in iron league. Right after I logged in to the old account the game was like "congrats, you'we reached iron league"...Ok, then xd

The current state of the game can make it hard for returning players from before the levelling system or mints are introduced

I was also a returning player, and I have to endure not having Reinforcemint and Spearmint at the time they're very popular and powerful, which was about for several months until Improve-mint event. This game is now designed so that players keep playing throughout the year, you don't log in for a month, you might miss a plant or two.

Even in level 1 mini forum or mid level mini forum, new plants which are seasonal (can only be unlocked when they're available/featured), like Pokra, Imp Pear, Shine Vine, etc. are often used and indeed useful. If you can endure not having these plants until they're back in the game, it could be rewarding when you get to unlock them eventually.

In the meantime, you might want to use what you have to their potential, learn the game (there are lots of tips and trick since Arena was introduced), collect mints to unlock power mints, and collect gems to help you unlock seasonal plants. Apparently there's not really a quick way if you intend to unlock all the plants, but you'll get there.
