Thank you all for confirming. It appears this is a bug introduced by the 11.3.1 update.
Sadly, there is not much we as players can do, we need our CM to alert PopCap team to make a fix available to clear this fault.
I had the same issue also. Since I own every plant, I am losing 10 gems because I can't complete the Daily Activities. Very very disappointing.
I was thinking this, would be no need to rent a plant if you have them all, there are three that are that have not come up yet. But yes a freakin lose of gems. Real smart on their *sarcastic* part.
It is now a week later and this glitch hasn't been fixed. It costs me 10 gems a day. Another frustration is the game says that all I need to do is complete 8 daily activities, which I do; then the CLAIM button for the 10 gems lights up green, but says "Quest progress has not been completed".
so I can't rent a plant because I own all available plants and I can't claim gems because the glitch says no.
On the plus side, I get the 10 gem bonus every three days. But I have earned and lost 100s of gems since this started. Oh well. I guess they are not interested in fixing this.
