I guess you mean 25 gems free to buy the seeds, if this was the case then it is only 10 seeds per day, so one would need to spend more to get the plant with in the time limit, hmm, more battlez.....

And yes I though it was 25 seeds against 25 gems but it is more 10 seeds, sometimes 20.
Yeah somehow even if it is not a gemium or premium plant yet they managed to make it a plant that P2W payers would have and upgrade more easily than F2P players. (P2W players have likely more gems than F2P in general and also better streak so more seeds as rewards.
