I guess we will never know.
But it's not the first time I'm on a 9th or 10th game, I'm leading the whole game, but I know that I am gonna be screwed in the last seconds.

How do you guys use the moon flower so successfully, I never seem to get a lot of sun from it. Can someone please show me what layout to use with the moon flower? Thanks

In this week short-time Battlez , you don’t need much sun, moonflower is to boost other plants such as grimrose... You can plant then next to each other (in adjacent as said)

Anyway its sun production depends on its level also.

My best this week is ~1.4 million, using  Moonflower/Grimrose/PPM/Infi Nut and Reinforce Mint and I lost to a player using Gold Bloom/Tile Turnip/PPM + 2 Power Lily.

I am using form of Power Lily, Tile Turnip, PPM, Moonflower and Grimrose, strategy is: in first of 30'-45', Grimrose and first lines of PPM protect all during Tile Turnip be deployment in a full row of PPM, in last 45-60', using Plant food on PPM for scoring. My scores is fluctuate from 1M to 1.8m with medium level of plans.

It's kinda the drawback of this week strategy, there are lot of fluactions between games like 800k-1M differences sometimes, depending of the waves of zombies, the timing, where ppm go, etc

Easy to play but hard to master it really well I guess

Since it is a short game this week, I decided to record the 1st 10 games I played and just to show the intended streak breaker in action and guess what, I lost on the 9th game.

This week's challenge is not so bad, I managed to break 1M twice in the 1st 10 games and should have a better result once I fine tuned my in game timings of plant placements.

I guess I would prefer to be beaten by an "opponent" that would lead the whole game rather than being beaten by "player" that just get a higher score than you in the last second.

Not sure it would work that well since tile turnip are not really good at lvl 1

will do as I am still experimenting and I am sure I can get higher.

As for those people who do not believe intended streak breaker exist, just get them to look closely at the last 5 second of the last game on my video, I can confirm this happens quite often and to many players and not just me.

I do think almost every player believe in it to be honest  and that they trust EA in general 🤒
It's like the convenient "magnet-shroom bug" happening this week in Battlez...hard to buy it considering the circumstances.

After destroying the field during last week's Battelz (and milking it for a fortune), I haven't bothered to participate for this week. I've mostly gone back to trying to complete a few worlds I haven't' touched in months.

Maybe tonight I will dabble a bit using some of the ideas in this thread, but if I don't get spectacular results, I'm quitting battlez maybe for good. It's not like there is any special type of plant to win or anything.

Well I guess you can still get mints to upgrade Reinforce-mint or Bombard-mint...like in 1 year ? Who know wen it will be possible to get seeds for thoses mints again ?
I do have ideas of how they could make them available but I rather not tell it since I'm afraid they would do it 😞
I don't think it is a good move from EA to do it like this, players see that most of the power-mint are kinda useless and I'm not sure there will be really good power-mint again...

If you look at the new power-mints, either the plants of the family are not really interesting or premium...either the effect is "Meeh"..and sometimes both

Like the one for ice plants: one useless plant for Battlez (iceberg lettuce) , one too expansive plant (winter melon) and 3 premium plants...so what the point for F2P to buy it ? Plus the effect is not that interesting compared to other power-mints plants...
The effect of the one for peashooter family seems interesting even if I'm not sure to clearly understand it 🤭 Problem, almost only primal peashooter is played in this family.
The one for poison could have a nice effect - kinda like Bombardmint - but the plants of the plants of the family are not that good...

The one I'm really expecting and that could be a great one is the one for the shadow family. The effect seems interesting but it's hard to see how powerful it can be with the gameplay we have so far.
And shadow mint family is just the best power-mint plant family without any doubt. Other families have kinda the same type of plants while in shadow family you have one of the best sun producing plant (if not the best when fully boosted), one of the best lobbed shot plant (if not the best when boosted, considering the damage/cost ratio), a melee plant, a poison plant, and a plant that have no equivalent  (except on water)
