Well, I had the Google Opinions Reward credit in hand so I went ahead and added StarFruit to my Level 1 profile for $3.99 + US tax at least now I will always have it !!!

@lawmfw Congrats.
I am green with envy! I like this plant a lot on the original PVZ as it shoots 5 directions and it is a shame that EA decided to make it a cash only plant in PVZ2.
So for a F2P replacement I have to settle with the four-direction shooter, Rotobaga, instead.
I have StarFruit for FREE from the early days in my Mastery account but it was missing from my late 2018 Level 1 account so for GOOGLE money it was an accetpable purchase
(given ccMark's results using Cactus in Arena perhaps I was in haste and should have chosen Cactus first)
I just slogged through the StarFruit Epic Quests for both profiles...ugh. Odd challenges were the worst/nastiest and cost me coins/power ups !!
In the past year I have kept track of my seed totals for my Level 1 profile and it has now accrued over 450 StarFruit seeds. Mastery profile StarFruit has gone from M97 to M104.
