Check out you google account notifications for discount codes, my Chomper was 99p but i had a 50% off coupon so he was 49p!

Google opinion surveys don't take up much time and can earn enough play credit for a couple of premium plants a year or some ebooks. (they have a lot of heavily discounted ebooks from as little as 99p).
