@Lipogenesis Yeah, same for me as well. Doing the same thing (harvesting Jurassic Marsh seeds), I maxed out my Perfume Shroom several months ago and was also disappointed that I still keep receiving them.
On one hand I do find it annoying, on the other hand: if the game simply excluded maxed-out plants from awarded seed packets, that would expediate the growth of the other plants. Or an extreme example: let's say you've maxed out ALL plants: shouldn't the game still reward you seed packets for winning (even though you don't need them)?
Yeah, it's annoying, but at the same time: now you can save 5,000 coins when Per.Shroom is offered in the Boutique 😉

There are plenty of fun options if useless seed packages are indeed a feature, and I know that EA has plenty of design talent that can think them up. I have done some design as well, but it doesn’t take someone educated in design to imagine that alternative rewards, some sort of seed exchange feature, or the existence of relevant mastery levels for plants like Perfume Shroom would help turn an annoyance into something fun or at least interesting to longer-term players.
