(FEEDBACK) It takes too long to encounter anything new/familiar
In the 80 new levels (making the number of total amount of levels 230.) I think you guys over at PopCap should probably update the overall gameplay when it comes to the levels, To make things simple, just reuse certain levels so new and incoming stuff you might encounter will show up a little earlier (maybe something new every 5 to 15 levels) Because it feels a little bland that Sun Shroom appears 31 levels in and Rock N' Rollin Imp showing up 47 levels in after the update. The overall story, decorations, and the starter power ups are already fine, you don't have to remake everything from the ground up, it's just that the levels need adjusting.
Here's what you can probably do for an example when it comes to players encountering things (levels 1 to 50)
Level 1 - Peashooter and Sunflower, Browncoats and Flag Zombie
Level 2 - Wall-Nut
Level 3 - Bonk-Choys and Coneheads
Level 4 - Bamboo Shoots
Level 5 - Imps
Level 6 - Chilly Pepper
Level 7 - Jalapeno and Cherry Bomb
Level 8 - The Rake and Bonus Sun
Level 9 - The Gumball Machine
Level 10 - Bucketheads and Squash
Level 15 - Snow Peas and the Rain
Level 20 - Water Tiles
Level 21 - Lily Pad
Level 23 - Ducky Tubes and Tangle Kelp
Level 25 - Gargantuars
Level 35 - Bowling Zombie and Cabbage Pult
Level 40 - Pigeon Feeder
Level 45 - Lightning Reed
Level 50 - Ballpark Frank Midboss!
How about every 50 levels there's a midboss, similar to the brainiacs. Which is why i mentioned Ballpark Frank, he was a cool addition to old PvZ3.
Also depends on what happens maybe this is what you can encounter after level 50
