Progress lost and account lost

Hi, I have been playing PvZ Heros for a few years on my iPhone and bought a lot of cards and diamonds. I tried to play two days ago.  I was urged to create a new name and go through the tutorial again.  After the tutorial, I found all my previous progress was gone.  Could you please advise how this can be fixed? Thank you.
