[ Xbox One ] Game crashes when friend joins

Hey friend,
I ran into the same thing, they told me to reroute my IP address to another address but I don't think that is the case. It has to be in-game related. I'm also on Xbox.
- Ah, who told you to reroute you ip? Was it ea?
Yeah, their support team. Don't think it would help though or rather, don't think that's the root of the problem.
Did you ever figure it out?
- No sadly. We have tried deleting the game deleting the saved game file incase it was corrupted and re-downloading, tried port forwarding his ip address. Tried clearing the cache. Nothing has worked. It's odd cause he can use the portal to play multi-player but can't join friends or friends can't join him in the backyard.
