2 player offline split screen for GW2 Xbox One

Recently purchased PvZ GW2 for Xbox One, but can't figure out to how to activate offline 2 player split screen mode. Other support forums I've read say select this mode from main menu, but I can't find that either. Anybody out there know how to do this? I'm not talking about online multiplayer; just simple 2 player offline mode with 2 controllers in my house. If there are other games I can play in 2 player offline mode as well within GW2, would appreciate knowing how to access those as well. Thanks!

    On either plants or zombies, when you first spawn into the game, you should be facing towards the quest board and Rux.  Turn 90 degrees to your left and go towards the side of the base.  You'll soon notice a console on your left that looks like two stacked TV screens, and when you approach it, it will prompt you to interact.
