A question about the new dlc

Will this  "Trial of gnomus" Event be limited, Here forever, Or a mix of the two?

    The Mystery Portal will be open every Thursday through Sunday during any week where there is not a Community Challenge happening. After the event ends the doors seem to stay open for Monday, with the Portal deactivated but will close on Tuesday in anticipation for the reset so make sure that if you have unopened Chests and you have the Rainbow Stars that you need that you open them before 24 hours pass after the event closes.

    I kinda miss what the first wave of the update and I was wondering if this is limited or permanent.

    If you're referring to the portal in town hall, it will only be open at certain times.
