@mikepal19 I thought that was really good gameplay so good job outsmarting those Nightcaps!
I have some interesting general questions for you as an experienced player, if you are happy to answer them:
1. How would you know if a player is targeting you and;
2. What should you do if they are targeting you?
2. Kill them lol if you don't they will prolly taunt you. Otherwise, it's actually hard to say cuz if they end up always killing you, then that could be really frustrating. Just try to travel in a pack so it's hard for them to single you out.

Had 3 high ranks on a team Tuesday night that were quite good and they were teaming up as oak and doing stuff like launching the oak high in the air with that explosion and I started tearing into them with allstar and ruining their fun. The next game all three targeted me and did the terrible emote after every kill it was fun times. To top it off on the third game they left and then I got my first Xbox hate message telling me I was a crap allstar ha ha.
Looking forward to more targeting and hate messages!

Hmm ... makes sense! Me and my brother tend to stay close to each other. I do remember this game a while back on Goopy Gully where my brother was a Captain Deadbeard and I was an Imp. This Acorn kept flanking my brother and to try to vanquish him. The Acorn managed to get a couple of vanquishes on my brother. After that, I waited nearby, as soon as the Acorn came back, I jumped on them and chased him back to his spawn. I used Gravity Grenade and trapped him, they used Acorn Dash to get out. They got away, when they came back, they did the same thing, except this time, my brother vanquished the Acorn before I had a chance to properly do anything!
Fun times! 🤨
On an unrelated note, I fixed the spelling error in my last post!

My strategy for dealing with people who target me or are toxic in general is to tame them. It works fairly well. Acorn had success with it in 4/5 cases 🙂
You just have to vanquish them a lot, but instead of taunting use nice emojis. So far, the 4 people I "tamed" greet me now with in-game messages when I join their lobbies and don't shoot me at all anymore. It is quite relaxing.
- 5 years ago@benn1nat0r Yeah! I don't use the nice emotes but you have to beat them into niceness lol
