Ability discussion: barrel blast

BfN's barrel blast moves too fast, especially with the upgrade, and is too often used as a kind of self-piloting bean bomb to wreak havoc on control points and carts. Being able to destroy the barrel makes it less useful in PvE when lots of weeds are beating on it too. It's an odd bird in BfN to be sure. There's nothing wrong with using an ability in different and creative ways (unless you use map exploits or other bugs), but it's too useful for an aggressive player in BfN as it is right now.

In GW2, I tend to use it for its Chomp protection and to get out of a bad spot, the actual explosion I use more in PvE as it can take out several weeds at once, especially at the flag of power. 

I prefer the armored version of it in GW2 over the BfN version where you can be shot out of it, but with how fast it is in BfN, you almost need to be able to shoot them out of the barrel to prevent them wiping out half your team. 

It's a thematic and fun ability in general, but I prefer the slower speed and armor of GW2's version over BfN's.
