Gravity Grenade went from OP in GW2 to borderline garbage in BfN. For some reason, after a patch, they gave gravity grenade's ability to pull plants in to Nightcap's casting shadows so it's far, far better than the Imp ability as its huge and blocks zombie's vision. If we get both abilities in a new game they need to be better balanced against each other an in each character's kit. I'd say for gravity grenade to make it smaller than in GW2, but actually useful against the plants like it was there too. I get that it was too good in GW2, but the BfN version is awful.
Impkata is an ability where the idea behind it and animation is great, but the actual ability isn't a favorite. It bugs out in the backyard near the flag of power a lot, causing no damage at all at times. In BfN, like you post, it takes a while to kick into full gear. I had read that zooming in while using it causes more damage? No idea if that's true. Like turret modes, it makes you vulnerable, even with armor, and while you can move some, it limits mobility a lot, and for a character with such low health, that's not a favorite idea. Another ability that needs to be looked at for a new game to make it work when used, and not be too good, or too poor.
@Iron_Guard8Slightly reducing the size of gw2's gravity grenade but keeping everything else from gw2 would be the best version as the size in bfn is just pathetic even with supermassive and plants being able to use their abilities in it is just broken. I was gonna mention on nightcap that casting shadows is way too good for what it does.
Impkata in gw2 is wierd. If you double tap the button it will cancel out. It's best used on the legendary imps as their speed boosts in legendary mode carry over to impkata which imo would be the perfect buff alongside removing sprint from the series. The aiming thing in bfn wouldn't surprise me at this point. Like you say it's a great a idea but it's one that needs to be refined in the future.
