I tried their help site but they responded with, "it sucks but oh well", automated email.
I spent money on this game. How is it my responsibility for their new release to not glitch out and reset me.
It happened today earlier in the morning. I was playing fine, then I clicked to see if any of my friends were online. It then asked me to enter a name.
I found this odd and reopened the app. Instant reset.
100% server glitch and 100% EA's responsibility to fix it.
I will be trying to load my backup off my PC this afternoon and if that fails, demanding a refund on all my in app perchases.

The backup off my iTunes didn't work. I hope it works for you though.
