@Shinobicap Yep, @Ninja2Blade nailed it. Based on distance and angles. I’ll use hip fire or ADS.
Use him (Acorn) often and you’ll learn where your natural aiming strengths and weaknesses fall. If you miss with hip fire in a certain situation, try ADS and vice versa. You’ll eventually get the knack of his aiming.
Don’t forget to try different aim assist settings, too.
I use the same upgrade kit as you.
I have two extra tips for you.
Firstly, try using sap trap as a finisher. More or less, use it to quickly kill a weakened enemy that you have lowered. It does 65 on direct and very close range so try to gauge what health the enemy's health is to try and finish them off.
Secondly, try using sap trap and acorn dash together. This is a little awkward to do first, but it is surprisingly efficient! If you want to get onto high ground or go above the enemy, shoot the sap trap at the ground, then position yourself in the direction you want to go. Next, jump and activate sap trap. Quickly, use Acorn Dash in the direction you want. This sounds confusing, but once you try to nail this down, it is very strong. You can not only quickly flank the enemy, but traverse to high ground as well. Just as a note, executing this tip is somewhat challenging at first and needs to be properly done. It is a relatively fast maneuver.
