Fireworks zombie is a great combo with newspaper zombie. Try those in the same deck. He also enables that legendary barrel zombie quite effectively (you get a free the chickening that affects both players if you play both at the same time).
The better counters to mushrooms are the chickening/weed spray, sausage imp, pied piper zombie and arm wrestling zombie. Also things like the the sumo wrestler zombie can separate those team up mushrooms so they can be more easily disposed off.
Ra definitely sucks though!
I agree that Fireworks Zombie is fine and that Ra Zombie needs works.
