Boss Hunt will be making a return to the garden in the future, standby for communication from Dr. Zomboss…soon'ish. 🙂
I don't see how it takes extra manpower to insert a boss hunt into the portal rotation.

It is ridiculous that boss hunt has not appeared for at least three months. I'm going to go one step further and say that it's outrageous.
Why? Because there are a total of 24 hats and three trophies for this game which one cannot achieve without having completed all four boss hunts at every difficulty level. I have all these things already, as do many of you. But if I were a newer player I would be seriously upset that I was not being given the opportunity to earn these trophies and prestigious hats.
It's time for the newer players to take to the PVZ twitter and begin to voice complaints on this topic. Seriously. I couldn't believe when the July calendar was released and still did not include a boss hunt. Lame, Popcap. You've already made it so that it's impossible for players to 100% the sticker book. But to keep a large percentage of the player base from being able to 100% the trophies in the game is an insult.
I missed the boss hunts, and I would LOVE to have a chance to play them and unlock the customisations. Also, if the spooky squash gamemode comes back I would like to have the candy bucket stage troll proof.
They do need to let people get these done. I'm at the point where all I need are the missing community challenge hats but I know a lot are missing other things like achievements for Cats and Dinos and Boos Hunts.
New players especially need the ability to get these done. I'd be happy to just buy the missing hats from Rux and give people the chance to do Boss Hunts and Cats and Dinos even though I do enjoy the community challenges more often than not. We know the new game has to be occupying a lot of dev attention but it isn't that difficult to set these up is it?
