I purchased Plants vs Zombies on Friday 10/31/14, like all the other download games it will not download. Says I have a Trojen Viris and will not load. Other games I have tried also give me the same.
Help!

Interesting. Here is a slew of programs I'd be running and the order at wich I'd run them.
Rkill (aka iExplore)

TDSS Killer (probably the least useful, can't say I've ever seen it do anything)

RogueKiller

JRT

ADWCleaner (prompts a restart)

Likely you are pretty clean at this point. Follow it up with a "Trial" version scan of Hitman Pro (trial ver still removes) and free Malwarebytes (MWB will take a long time to do a full scan, do it over night).

Manaully inspecting your USER/AppData folder... depending on your ability though.
Manually cleaning up browser add-ons/extentions.
Manually removing junk/garbage/unneeded stuff from MSCONFIG - Startup (win8+ is in CtlAltDel)
Roguekiller should have put the Host file back to default but possibly not.
If it's still around try to identify what it's name is. There may a specific fix for it. Safe Mode is likely where it needs to be done at. Some of those programs work in SM some don't.
