That thing's pretty much impossible to beat since they increased the hit points on it. I did a solo on it with either corn or citron, I forget, and I couldn't even destroy one limb.

Nor is the battery or the robot made to be solo. If one person could solo the event like that it would be near impossible for the zombies to win like how it was when they first released the map
My point was, if one player with high damage cannot break even part of it with no enemies, I don't see how say, eight players can kill it with a team of zombies attacking them the whole time.
I've been in a few Herbal Assault games taking place on the Zombopolis map recently and it's entirely possible for the Plants to destroy the Zombot; I've been both on teams which successfully destroyed it as well as being on the team which failed to defend it.
In multiplayer two of the factors which seem most important is whether or not a substantial portion of the Plants are actively trying to damage the battery and exactly how many Zombies are actively in the Battery Room defending and what sort of defense is being mounted.
Speaking very generally most of the time when the Plants fail it's because too few of them were actually making their way to the Battery Room to attack the Battery directly in comparison to the Zombie forces mounting defense or the ones making their way there weren't capable of inflicting a lot of damage to the Battery itself before being vanquished by the defenders.
From what I've observed ot of the Plant failures aren't because they can't damage the Zombot fast enough when it gets exposed but rather because they either get caught up in skirmishes in the hallways to either side of the Battery Room getting distracted with vanquishing the Zombies or can't crack the Battery Room defense long enough to meaningfully damage the Battery.
It's not easy at all but it can be done.
