[ANNOUNCEMENT] Plants vs. Zombies Battle for Neighborville Anticheat Update

I saw your post and it seems very similar to the issue I’ve been experiencing with the game for almost a month now ☹️

Here’s a summary of my problem:

• Whenever I launch the game, I get stuck on a screen that says, “Connecting to EA servers.” After a while, it either loops back or shows an error message saying, “Unable to connect to EA servers.”
• I’ve tried everything: reinstalling the game, clearing the cache, disabling two-factor authentication, and even testing it on a different computer with a separate internet connection. The issue persists, but ONLY on my account.
• When I use a different account on the same computer and internet connection, the game works perfectly fine.

Based on this, I believe the issue is tied to my account rather than my system or internet connection.

I’ve contacted EA Support multiple times, but they keep asking me to check my internet connection or repeat the same steps, which hasn’t helped. I’ve run out of options.

From your post, it sounds like the issue might be related to how the game switches your account to a private mode, making it impossible to connect to the server. Could you confirm if this is what you’ve experienced?
