I don't agree. Some of us work for a living and have stayed up late getting every character only to find out that you can't get the last one....VERY DISAPPOINTING ☹️

I agree with this. While I happen to be transitioning between college and work, I sympathize with anyone with time restrictions. The idea of rewarding players who reached 313 was, in theory, a nice gesture. Making the reward a variant was a bad idea though.
If it makes you feel better you are not alone, there are many people on this forum and others upset by this promotion. It's sad too, all they would need to do is bring back the offer and all of this would be resolved.
While I generally disagree with exclusivity, in this one case I'm kind of for it.
It was well known that the character was available and how to earn it, they left an enormous amount of time to reach the requirements and while its unfortunate for new players it really does mean a lot to veteran players who put in the effort to unlock the character.
