@iluminatethesky I don't want/need him to play online or have anything in the list provided in that article. I just want him to play the regular game with no online access. No articles I have found actually state why you MUST have an EA account to play any of their games. If EA is so concerned with privacy, they shouldn't require us to give up information in order to access a game, especially without good reason.

I understand where you're coming from.
This has always been the case though, in order to access any EA games.
You are able to set up his own account, and he will be able to play the game Offline, until you give him permissions to play Online/Multiplayer.
