Apparent hackers popping up in PvZ GW

I noticed some players getting like 6 or 7 kills in a row multiple times lately, and occasuinally I would be instantly killed with one z-blaster bullet or sunflower shot and forced to instant respawn. No time for revivals or anything. Just bing dead respawned. Thought it was a bug. But then I noticed one player last game, a Dark energy sunflower, that consistently was killing any zombie leaving spawn with one shot. Everytime I died to this person it was one bullet  and I was forced to instantly respawn. Clearly this dark energy sunflower was using hacks. Obvious something to increase damage something that forces respawns and likely an aimbot of some manner. Need a way to easily report these players as in retrospect there must have been more then one of them roaming around as this is not the first time I have died and been forced to instantly respawn.

  • Yep, not sure where to report cheating players, but I just went several rounds with a player named <no naming and shaming> that was getting upwards of 45+ of the kills when he was on my team.  Looked like pretty obvious hacking to me.  Then I ended up on the other team and I was getting one shot insta-killed by him.  Put my earpiece in to listen in to the VOIP chatter and heard several people on my team reporting the same one shot insta-kill problem from him.

It's pathetic, but not surprising.  Hackers gonna hack... all we can do is report them as we see them.

EA, PopCap, if you are investigating suspicious players, please take a close look at <no naming and shaming>

    Thanks.

    Report cheaters to EA here:

    http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/?product=plants-vs-zombies-garden-warfare&platform=pc&subject=Cheater&category=report-cheating-harassment
    http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-report-cheating/

Naming and Shaming isn't allowed on any game public forum I've ever been apart of.

Xbox1 I would be surprised if there are cheaters there.  If there is, the link below is still valid.

Xbox360 report them to microsoft.  There should be an in game method.

Click  "File a Claim" and it gives instructions.

    Hy,

If you want to report players that are using hacks, please follow this steps:

    Report a player on Origin:

    1) Open your Friends List.

    2) Click the '+Add a Friend' button.

    3) Search for the Origin ID of the user you want to report.

    4) Click on their name to open the user's Profile.

    5) Click 'Report User' and tell us what sort of problem you're having.

Submit your report by contacting EA:

    1) Go to our Contact Us page: http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/

    2) For Product, select your game name

    3) For Platform, select the appropriate platform

    4) For Category, select "Report Cheating/Harassment" and describe the issue

    5) Be sure to include as much information about the player in question in the Description, including screenshots, Videos and any other relevant evidence to prove they did something wrong.

    6) Select the email option to submit then give as many details as you can (videos, screenshots, etc.).

    Thanks.

  • Yes, this dark energy sunflower hack is still around.  I was in game today and this sunflower had over 90+ kills in less than 5 minutes!
