Battle Chest Guide - Zombies Town Center!
Hi everyone,
On this thread I will be attaching my tips for successfully completing all of the Battle Chests in Zombies Town Center. The Battle Chests are located in Pressure Pier, close to where you spawn at first. Just head straight ahead and past the zombie NPCs that you interact with and it should be right there. It is near the corner of pressure pier on the right and just above the shop where Otto Do is. My battle chest completion tips are as follows:
Battle Chest 1: Suns and Roses.
Difficulty: Casual.
Game mode: Team Vanquish.
Bonus Objective: Vanquish 10 Opponents.
Reward for Completing Bonus Objective: 3,000 coins and 10 tacos.
The bonus objective wants you to get 10 or more vanquishes on your opponents in a single match. Enemies include Sunflowers and Roses.
- Use abilities that deal 100 or more damage, such as Explosive Escape, to wipe out your enemies with a single hit, so they are left without a chance to quickly heal up.
- The enemies cluster some of the time, due to Enigma purposes and Healing. Use attacks and abilities that are effective in clusters, such as Electric Slide.
- Use Wizard if you need to negate Arcane Enigma. The Al Roses tend to use Arcane Enigma a lot when their health gets low.
- Focus one enemy at a time, or isolate an enemy, you should have a much easier time vanquishing them. Remember that they are Support characters so they need allies to be very effective.
- When sunflowers Sunbeam, they are a still target and cannot heal themselves. Use this to your advantage.
- When Roses use Goatify, you can still attempt to ram them for damage. If they Jinx you, remember this is Easy difficulty so the additional damage your enemies are going to do to you are minor.
- Shared vanquishes count for this challenge, but not assists.
Battle Chest 2: Smoky Situation.
Difficulty: Normal.
Game mode: Gnome Bomb.
Bonus Objective: Plant or Disarm 3 Gnome Bombs.
Reward for Completing Bonus Objective: 4,000 coins and 10 tacos.
The bonus objective wants you to either Plant or Defuse Gnome Bombs that are placed on objectives 3 or more times in one match of this Battle Chest. Enemies include Snapdragons.
- Use Double Time to get to a garden to plant the Gnome Bomb when you pick it up.
- If you intend to plant lots of Gnome Bombs, use a character with more health so you are less likely to be vanquished during your attempts to place your Gnome Bomb.
- Wait near a tombstone and allow your opponents to place the bomb on a tombstone. Then quickly defuse it once they have planted it. Look for the Bomb icon on screen to indicate where the Bomb is.
- Try to identify the locations where the Gnome Bomb can appear. This way you will know where to wait so that you can pick up the Gnome Bomb. Make haste when it appears.
- Stay near other allies that have the Gnome Bomb. If they get vanquished, you can pick it up quickly and finish the job!
- If an enemy is about to place a Gnome Bomb on your tombstone, head there quickly and attempt to defuse it.
Battle Chest 3: Sneaky Mushroom, Fiery Dragon!
Difficulty: Normal.
Game mode: Vanquish Confirmed!
Bonus Objective: Deal 1,000 Damage.
Reward for Completing Bonus Objective: 5,500 coins and 10 tacos.
The bonus objective wants you to deal a total of 1,000 damage during one match of this Battle Chest. This means you do not need vanquishes and can spread it upon any amounts of enemies. Enemies include Snapdragons and Nightcaps.
- Use an Attack character as they are designed to deal a lot of damage.
- Focus on Snapdragons more than Nightcaps: They have a higher health pool and are easier to hit, and will not turn invisible (unless in Casting Shadows).
- If you see a Casting Shadows, shoot into it in the hopes you will deal some damage.
- If you see grouped enemies, use abilities (or Electric Slide) that are useful against clustered enemies.
- Use abilities that deal lots of damage, or Pirate.
Battle Chest 4: The C Team.
Difficulty: Hard.
Game mode: Suburbination.
Bonus Objective: Capture 5 Suburbination Stations.
Reward for Completing Bonus Objective: 7,500 coins and 10 tacos.
The bonus objective wants you to capture the marked areas 5 times during one single match of this Battle Chest. Enemies include Cacti, Citrons and Corns.
- Head from objective to objective.
- Allow your opponents to capture an area, and then take it back. You could stick nearby and wait for them to capture it, then either vanquish those enemies or hide until they leave.
- Use a character with mobility to quickly get to objectives if you need to.
- If your team starts recapturing an objective away from the plants, try and get there so you are in the objective when your team recaptures it.
Battle Chest 5: Sunflower Retreat.
Difficulty: Crazy!
Game mode: Team Vanquish.
Bonus Objective: Defeat 3 Sunflower Queens.
Reward for Completing Bonus Objective: 10,000 coins and 10 tacos.
The bonus objective wants you to vanquish 3 or more Sunflower Queens (boss) that appears in this Battle Chest in one match. Enemies include Sunflowers and Sunflower Queens (boss), so expect a lot of healing to be going on.
- Use cover if needed.
- Shared vanquishes count, and you don't need to deal very much damage to get a boss vanquish. However, to get a vanquish for this challenge the boss must actually be vanquished, so deal as much damage as you possibly can to it.
- Try to take out any nearby Sunflowers first before battling the boss so the boss will not heal and you can focus on the boss itself.
- Careful of the Sunflower Queen's charge up sunbeam attack.
- Use abilities or attacks that deal high damage at once, such as Explosive Escape, or Pirate's Spyglass Shot, for instance.
- Run around the map until you find a Sunflower Queen, then focus on taking it out.
As of for winning purposes, if it is:
Team Vanquish, then focus on vanquishing, healing and reviving. I suggest Scientist for this reason, as he is good at healing, can revive allies quickly (and to full health) as a passive ability and he is relatively good for vanquishing. And remember Steam Blaster is really good for going all-out on enemies, should you have it. 😉
Gnome Bomb, then do your best to defend gardens you and your team place the bombs on, while making sure to defuse any bombs that get placed on your tombstones.
Vanquish Confirmed!, then always try to collect and deny orbs you find or earn.
Suburbination, then aim to have as many points captured as possible, if your team loses a point, head to that point and try to recapture it. Mobility characters can prove useful.
Well, that's it for now. I hope that this guide helps! 🙂
